When I was younger I thought that Wolff made sense, but after listening to both sides of the argument Schiff definitely has hard facts backing him up and Wolff just says things that are meant to sound nice.

If anyone simply walks through Costco or any convenience store the last few months, you will see prices of everything have risen 20-30% or more. This is absolutely detrimental to the lower and middle class as an additional tax basically. These prices will not slow and will reach higher and higher in the coming months and years.

That guy talking about private debt forgets that 1) Private debt has better incentives (you don't usually take out debt to be stupid with it and if you do, there are consequences) 2) Private debt has collateral that is collectible, where as taxpayers can't liquidate the government if insolvent

So let me get this straight, these two so called academic professors of economics suggest that it is impossible for the capitalist economy (underhanded way of blaming capitalism) to grow without an ever increasing national debt and all the other unfunded liabilities. On the other hand, Peter is making the case that it is entirely possible to grow the economy from a capitalistic standpoint and at the same time balance the budget by decreasing the national debt and unfunded liabilities by realigning the US dollar back to a tangible asset such as gold again, decrease the size of government and social programs. The reality has been for the last several decades is that generally speaking government has grown larger, took the dollar off the goal reserve, tax and spend, and print insane amounts of money in order to ‘grow the economy’ The results of actual govt and Fed policy = Higher taxes, de-evaluation of the dollar, inflation for the same goods and services, economic uncertainty, rising energy prices, outsourcing on jobs, supply chain issues and dependency on foreign entities for our overall livelihood STILL with an evergrowing national debt of $30 trillion and over 100 trillion and unfunded liabilities. Our Congress and the Fed had taken absolutely no real responsibility for accounting catastrophe and these two cognitively retarded economist wants us to believe that this is the way it is and there’s nothing we could do that actually fix it. Those two ‘economist’ are truly living in the ‘upside down’ 🙃🙃🙃
