I love the part where he's talking about his favorite season being Autumn and building a nice little house with lots of windows, finding a wife, and worshipping her the rest of his life. That made me cry. He really wanted to find someone to love who would love him for him, not because of who he was. Also, to find someone who would love him just as much in return and have a family/settle down. I would've given anything to be his 'Cinnamon Girl' with how sweet, loving, romantic, and down to earth he was, plus his sense of humor was fantastic. His voice=bonus. RIP Pete💚

Some miserable zoomerpilled tankie “discovered” a (widely seen) interview where Peter sarcastically called Hitler and Stalin his heroes and deceptively edited it to make themselves look like daring, virtuous Internet sleuths unmasking a crypto-Nazi. Jason didn’t say “still a commie tho” because they presumably think *that* would be okay. As far as rock stars go, Peter was actually fairly inoffensive. He loved his mom, loved his cats, and loved working outside. I love how desperate the mob is to “bash the fash” that they have to “discover” what was unmistakably a piss take and present it as if it’s some kind of smoking gun. They won’t touch Bowie, Kiedis, Saint John, etc. for their *actual* histories of shitty behavior, though.

I found out about Peter just before the beginning of this fall and I can't believe I didn't know him before, he was really wonderful as a person and talented as a musician. Although when he died I was only 8 years old, I am still very glad that I was able to get into his work and his persona, getting to know him happened at a very difficult time for me and it was he who inspired me to try to move on. Thank you Peter Steele, in my heart forever 💚

I think he wasn’t taking care of himself (diet wise etc.) very well towards the end of his life, a complete 180 from his peak days…it’s what happens when you pick the wrong women who cheat on you/inspire your cheating anthems and send you to Rikers. I don’t think he felt good enough (loved her too much) or in a place to hold down his first true love, Mardie; though he clearly would always have love for her. It’s like he didn’t think he deserved to thrive with her.
