I hope these videos never stop. The projects will keep getting bigger and bigger until it's "I made a life-sized cardboard house with life-sized sonic robots living inside"

Nintendo Labo is SHAKING. Damn near QUIVERING right now. They didn’t realize the people already had access to cardboard.

I think the reason the first two games didn't work, is because the DS doesn't have "hot-swap" functionality for the cartridges, i.e., you have to turn it off, insert the cartridge, and then power on the device. That's why the third one _did_ work. I remember this well because I recall being impressed by the DSi's ability to hot swap while on.

One thing I hate about modern tutorial videos is that they show a montage, and/or cut to a finished product. Then SAY they went through a lot of bs to get it made. But here, we watch Peter assemble this project by hand, and talk down to us, and the intention behind his plans, and his mindset behind troubleshooting techniques, and we are just as nervous as he is because he could make a mistake. It’s truly much more fulfilling when he succeeds.

If I remember correctly, you need to put the DS game in the slot before turning the system on for it to show up. Great vid BTW!

Thinking quickly, Peter constructs a homemade DS using nothing but cardboard, hot glue, and a DS.

10:59 Peter that's not how it works on a DS Lite, you need to power it off, then insert the cartridge and then power it on... It's not automatic like any other DS out there.
