I love these photo stories so much! It makes me look back at some of my older photography and relive the moments I have had in my life. Photography has taken me to so many places and given me so many experiences which otherwise I would probably never have had. Your videos always solidify the idea in my mind that photography is something to treasure and to hold dear. Thank you, Peter.

Amazing photos guys! Peter when you said that “you won’t get it if you don’t ask for it”, I just learned that today for my self. I’m a concert photographer and I’ve always wondered how to get stage access to get a shot of the band after the show with the crowd behind them. I decided them same very thing you said,I just asked figuring the worst they can say is no. Now because I asked I get to shoot the show and have that chance to get the shot I have in my head. Now to not screw it up. Both you guys are amazing, and inspiring photographers and videographers! Edit : this photo pass was also under my own name, No Shenanigans Photo, not one of the publications I’m with.

I have truly never, ever, said this before. This is the, best, Utube video I have ever seen. My Grandfather was an amateur actor and his stories always included, "we made them laugh and cry." Chris, as a family reunion photographer, I LOVED your story of taking your grandma to visit her family. The photos my team and I take aren’t flashy, but, to our clients they mean the world. I’m reaching the end of my personal photography career, I’m keeping my business open and running it, but the younger photographers will do all the actual photography. I’ve really enjoyed teaching the team about why this genre is so important. I guess that’s why I e had a very successful career. I’ve now started teaching photographers how to find these families who travel to the photographers service area for their family reunions. I’m truly enjoying this chapter of my career. Im sure you can appreciate what we do since you had that special moment with your grandmother. ❤️

Coming from a Northern Irish person here, I am so proud NI has been mentioned and it's an amazing photo and place. So beautiful but the last time I was there I didn't have a camera or much photography knowledge. Definitely going back with my camera and my new found photography skills. Keep making awesome videos Peter and Chris, love the knowledge that's always shared. We all appreciate it! Also (side note) RESPECT for distinguishing that it's NORTHERN Ireland!! Not even people that come over from the rest of the UK distinguish between the two most of the time. You have just become my favourite person ever Peter!! Thank you!

I actually had two photos I took a couple years featured in two different 2020 calendars! It was amazing to see my work printed in them! One of the photos was for the month of June and the other was for August. When I received the email from the two companies saying my photos were chosen, tears flowed. That was absolutely a dream come true for me! SO yes I know how Chris Hau felt in that moment!

Chris, OMG, I hit comment too soon! I'm Azorian. I was born in the US however, my grandparents on both sides emigrated from Sao Miguel to Hawaii back in the 1890s! I have yet to travel to the Azores. Your pictures are so lovely. Thanks for sharing. And I've seen the picture of Vila Franca do Campo in a travel mag.

Great photos and stories to go with them guys! You two are awesome! I have to mention the part about saying “Peninsula” because we say this word so much describing where we live. Which is in the Keweenaw Peninsula in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It’s in the northernmost part of the Upper Peninsula (U.P.) surrounded on three sides by the majestic Lake Superior. It’s the coldest, largest and deepest of the Great Lakes. An amazing place to live. There is more forest than people. 🍁🕯☕️ 🌲 🌳 ⛵️🏕🛶🚢⚓️

I love that last photo! I find every time I go to Moraine lake there is zero parking so I end up just going up my original destination. But I guess I’ll pick a random day this winter to do it since it’s not that big of a drive.
