With the new AI experiment kit Miika, Kosmos wants to bring the subject of artificial intelligence closer to children from the age of 10. The kit for the six-legged walking robot Miika consists of more than 100 individual parts. It is controlled via a free smartphone app using gesture control or sound recognition. The user can individually train the gestures and noises for running movements and for turning the head. At the PressPreview of the Spielwarenmesse 2023 on January 31, I had Jonathan Felder from Franckh-Kosmos Verlag explain the Miika to me in detail and also talked about the topic of data security.
