That honking is an important decision in itself. During my initial days of driving I wouldn't honk at all. But then I realised its a communication with your environment. One honk when you are driving beside the truck, the truckers knows there is a smaller vehicle in his blind zone and he becomes aware. One honk while passing a car in the other lane makes the driver aware not to attempt a lane change. On honk is must when you are reaching a crossing. Because the vehicles which are crossing might not be paying attention and driving at higher speed, or they may not see you coming due to a tree or the general chaos that is on the road in India. I have learnt to honk at every and at any intersection no matter how empty the roads, no matter if its 2 AM. I learnt it the hard way after hitting a dude on a cycle which came out of nowhere.

I also like your honesty, it's important for viewers to understand that vlogging isn't for everyone, i'm glad it works for you but it certainly wouldn't for me. I prefer staying at home & travelling through youtube lol. Not that i don't like travelling, I do but twice a year kinda thing, not constantly on the road like a youtuber vlogger life. Peter, You are a huge inspiration to me. I hear you speak about your life and I find many similarities in yours and mine, minus the travel. Which I am working on getting myself in order to do so. I have worked in the service industry for most of my life, detailing, chef, butcher, farming, trademan/handyman. Watching your channel has breathed new life into my hope that one day like yourself I will be traveling to places all over the world meeting wonderful people.

I had a mobile detailing business back in 1997. It was really hard to make it. I was a perfectionist and also only charging $175 per car back then. I finally just used my yellow pages ad to contract out all the appointments. One line ad gave me two appointments per day. Selling cars was much more fun and lucrative. I lived in Ukraine too btw.

Hey Peter, best of luck to you with your new direction, and Congratulations on the sale. Now that you have more clog-time (supposedly) I can give you a preview of my upcoming request (a year or so off). My 3rd book is being adapted into a feature screenplay, by an 'Avengers producer' and I planned on asking you to vlog on the scifi/fantasy locations, as if it were real and you were visiting...all on exotic locations, bringing to life a lost world before the great flood....I'm getting ahead of myself...all I'm saying is, best to you, and I've got you in mind, even if a year out. I’m totally embrace your vision and I’m a new subscriber and I have been binging on your videos lately . I embrace difference I love learning new stuff especially cultures I don’t like repetition unless producing something maybe predictability bores me silly But so many are scared of what they don’t know and love the same old everyday as it brings them comfort . I have been to Peru and I love the place there I learnt in more depth how people can be happier when they have less how a community can respect what little they have and respect what they have . At times I think we are all spoilt brats in the west lol including me at times moaning about what we don’t have but when you see people in other cultures make so much out of so little . And look at the colour and vibrancy in non western cultures in the west we love creme and beige and cookie cutter houses etc this shows how lack of culture and identity I believe . I once got my 15 minutes of fame on TV and I said Love and understanding NOT Hate and judgement Is needed more in this world

Hi Peter, Just subscribed to your channel today, the first video itself was lovely about the richest neighbourhood in mumbai, do visit India more often, its an enigma and would love if you can add more videos of the ancient hindu structures / temples etc to show it to the world how rich India's tradition was. I thought you had to go to a US consulate to get an accepted notary done in a foreign country. I guess it is up to the receiver of the documents to see what they accept.

When you explore a city, the traditional food of that place or area is must try.I have not seen traditional dish of udaipur,jodhpur and even Mumbai in your videos. Please work on that mate, the vlog becomes more interesting with food.

In the upper north of India (mainly Jammu & Kashmir and northern part of the Punjab) a foreign SIM and prepaid Indian SIM won't work. Only a postpaid Indian SIM will work in the whole of India.

You managed your car wash and detailing company for seven years remotely. lol, wow. You must have had family working and running it for you mate. Not a lot of profit in that game add sticky fingers and no oversight from the owner, I am impressed it paid you for as long as it did. Making a few grand a month in US and living in Ukraine you are living the dream for sure. I have lived in China, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Finland, UK, Nigeria, Ibiza, Canada and the US and last ten years in Australia, I know how far USD or Sterling can go in other parts of the globe, good to see someone taking advantage of that. I now trade crypto for myself and do good that way. Again no borders. Just waiting for Covid to lift and flights to come down. Good luck with the future mate.

I have no idea how you travel in the world for cheap because ticket to Ukraine its 3000-5000 depend of the season plus hotels there not cheap and food. Only if you travel like бременские музыканты it’s mean like gypsy, which not everyone like to run after flight and bike around the world 🙄 when you get to age of 40 you you should have have a minimum in your life to do thinks with comfort.
