i love how peter schiff stands by what he says. He said they take half of his income in taxes and that women says: thats impossible. And he says: NO ITS NOT!!! LOL

This is an example of the whole world being insane, leaving a minority of sane minded indviduals (in this case Peter), who are left with the problem of piercing the lens of insanity so that reality can be seen.

Pure gold watching this in the end of 2022 and seeing how you predicted all that's happening a decade ago. The "spend money for schools at any cost" argument is so stupid. Like everything else, if we eliminated regulations and allowed charter schools and other alternative education institutions to pop up, we save money AND drastically improve our schools.

It's utterly amazing (and heartbreaking) that it takes so much for people to understand him if they bother to try. For God's sake people - HE WAS RIGHT!!!

No one stands a chance against Schiff. Just plain and simple understanding of what needs to be done in brilliant statements.

I agree with most of what Schiff says but when he talks about recreating the business environment of the early 1900's, we need to remember that there were enormous hazards that came with having a factory job in addition to the total disregard for any environmental concerns. Life in the cities at that time held opportunities but also tremendous costs.

Less government restrictions will create jobs to boost the economy!! Here's proof: We would hire two full time employees at our shop IMMEDIATELY if we could pay $5-6/Hr. We can't pay any more because after the high minimum wage; State, Federal, Social Security, and unemployment taxes; workers comp and liability insurance.. We'd rather just do the work ourselves!

@malechauvinistxy Well, you can't freeze and economy in a control group and an experimental sample. We must use deductive reasoning. Let us say that the tax rate is 95%. Would that affect human behaviour? Would people have more or less money to invest in capital equipment (tools, machines, factories, etc.) or less? Is it better for individuals to direct money being guided by their own valuations-profit/loss test-price signals or is govt. to do those things with no feedback mechanisms?
