Also in the Deep South the blue suede shoes and all the rockin series guaranitic are perennials .

All of our guaranitica salvias attract hummingbird. Purple , blue , red and pink .

How much water to add and how often on any of the salvia plants?

The general rule of thumb is 1" if water 1x per week. They need a good soaking each week whether from rain or from supplemental watering. In hot, dry climates they might need more frequent watering but in cooler climates where the soil stays moist they might not need to be watered as often. Make sure they are in an area with well-draining soil so they aren't sitting in water.
