Have you played the base game? What are your thoughts?

For 2 player, apart from Cows, do you feel the other expansions makes that experience better? I was planning to start with base then add one expansion at a time for 2 player, but maybe I should start immediately with base + Cows?

We just received the Flowers expansion when they sent us a copy of the Cows expansion so we haven't tried the others yet. I do feel that everyone should start with the base game (1-2 plays), then add in an expansion. It's a fairly decent cerebral action/counter action game. Hope this helps!

I appreciate your getting this out with almost a week left before the kickstarter campaign ends! I will be going for the entire package if I do go ahead. Which it's probably going to happen. My game group is not a heavy gaming set, i think they certainly could learn the basic and grow with the game. I tend to like a bit heavier games and it looks like the weight will slide up as you add there expansions. I love you pace and clarity. Thank you both for your time.

If your group likes tactical maneuvering and area control that doesn't cause hard feelings this is a good medium weight game.

I feel that, I really needed a ge of this complexity/play time that is actually interesting and engaging. Petrichor is exactly that! Just got mine last week and have played 6 times now(@2-5 player counts)

Petrichor is one of those games that I have heard about, but never looked into. With the expansion on KS, I started looking at it, and now I am interested (playing right into their hands!). I am a backer now for "all-in", and hope that it is a winner for me. Either way, thanks for your content, guys. I really enjoy and appreciate what you do.

Excellent runthrough and I appreciate hearing your thoughts at the end. I’ve watched a lot of your videos as we seem to have similar taste, so I value your judgement. And, as someone else said below, this is one of those games I had heard about and seen the cover of but had no idea how it actually played or what it looked like until now. My favourite theme by far is 🦆n🌳a🌿t☀️u🌻r🍁e🐿 and I love area control - even though I almost exclusively play two player. So yeah, you’ve sold me. I think I had better go back it😬... The full collector’s edition is calling my name -those fancy hovering clouds!😻

It's so hard to keep track when so many games come out each and every year! Definitely play the base game, then add in the cows expansion after you get a feel for it (1-2 plays). Let us know somewhere down the line in the future what you think!

I haven’t played, but this game really interests me - plus, I can’t resist a beautiful, nature themed game. I need to decide if I should back it 😬

Did you get it?! I ended up going all I'm on the Collector's Edition and am so very happy I did! Definitely some flaws, such as the leaves/ice/rain on the points/round track board... Barf... But the game itself and it's expansions is absolutely perfect. I really needed a game of this simplicity level that's actually intriguing. Other flaw is the deluxe cloud moulds on acrylic stands.... That was a long and sad process to end on a kind of crappy result 😂 ah well, can't win em all!

@@pinky865 I did get it & got the chance to play the base game yesterday! I've been thinking about it today, which is a sign of a good game for me :) I'm excited to check out the expansions/other tiles in time. Such an easy game to play, but a lot of interesting decisions to be made!

@@bagookster awesome! 🍻🍻 Going to check out honeybee and cows this week... I feel like I'll end up always playing with at least one of them. Sort of a Carcassonne vibe with mini modules. I don't even remember what it's like to play that game without like 2-3 expansions and 5-10 mini expansions ha...lame without more I would assume. Can you believe My First Carcassonne exists??! 😂🤣

I love this game and was really excited to see a new and final expansion to the game. I love expansions, but I also love when they don't overwhelm the game by constantly releasing more content. Have you had the chance to play Cows with either the Flowers or Honeybee expansions? And is the poop and pasture tokens modular or do you always use everything in the expansion?

We didn't combine with the other expansions just because we wanted to get a better grasp on the cows expansion. I feel like we would only plug in 1 at a time going forward.

Like the theme of this game, also like euro-abstract games, but after watching some videos i think its better with 3+. What you think about it? Maybe review of Dreamscape some day?? Ps. This is the first Pfisters review???😋

It plays well at 2 but I think the sweet spot for this one is 3 players. This isn't a Pfister, we will be releasing Port Royal in a few days. :)

We in Australia have so many cows they are the third biggest producer of methane. I think its about 30 million, the total herd, here. We also produce the best cows! THE! BEST!

CrunchyCrustacean peeps gotta eat, and milk is a very big market. If it makes one feel better CSIRO is running research in this very area. So there is that. It’s surprising how much is generated from cows, pigs, sheep etc etc.
