Three animals I would love to own, 1. Snakes, specifically a corn snake, but any snake in general. 2. Irish Wolfhound one of my favorite breeds of dogs, but are HUGE. 3. Rats, rats would be the third animal I want, but my parents think they're disgusting

Rats make the best pets!! Sure, their lifespans are short, but they make up for that with the incredible bond you build with them 😊

I own 5 rat boys. ❤️🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀❤️ They are INCREDIBLE pets. My babies will play with each other, build nests together, and sleep in rat piles with each other. They're the sweetest things you ever see, in my personal opinion. ❤️My babies are cuddly and will often groom my hand with their tongues. My favourite thing to see is when they're drinking from their water bottles (those little tongues!) and when they boggle. I feel so happy whenever I see my babies boggling! ❤️ They love social time, so having them out in the living areas is a good idea. I have an air purifier in the house, so that helps with the smell. And, having a little bag of charcoal near the cage is also an awesome idea, so long as the rats can't get to it. I know you'd do all your research before getting those rats, so I know you'd be an excellent rat mama! Just be sure to get them from a proper breeder who does it for health and temperament, not coats. Some smaller pet stores will breed their own rats and hand-tame them from birth, just like good breeders. I respect you for waiting until you feel they'll fit into your life. They love people-time and free-roam unless you give them a REALLY big cage. I know you'll love them when you get them in the future. ❤️

I had to get an African fat tail gecko (my gecko Edgar) from I think the only seller In my state up in dahlonega (the mountains) They're EXCELLENT pets and they're so cute they tend to have fatter tails smaller in width heads bigger eyes and skinnier bodies than Leo's :) I definitely would recommend getting an AFT gecko if you have experience with other geckos and you really want one.

I have a Syrian but would like a dwarf someday . I want another Boston Terrier or a different small mix. I have been watching videos on these so maybe in the future , guinea pigs, rats or mice. I have been thinking of a cockatiel too . But one type of animal at a time keeps me happy ☺

Yay for ratties! I have four boys. I have kept them for years the only downside to rats is thier lifespan, otherwise they are perfect pets.

Ugh want ratties but one of my pet rules is nothing that lives under 3 years. I guess I’ll just have to rely on my sugar gliders to fill the rat shaped whole in my heart lol:)
