Petula and Tony performed together at Caesar's Palace i Las Vagas in 1974. It would have been wonderful if they had recorded an album . RIP Michael parkinson.

Precioso look de Petula y un escenario pletórico de su calidad con el acompañamiento musical de total armonia para su melodiosa voz.

RIP Michael Parkinson fellow Yorkshire man. Petula Clark: After the career she started as a child star and then to become a Worldwide MEGA-STAR with the most beautiful and brilliant of female vocalist the thing I find the most enchanting about Petula is that she is so very humble and endearing. She is extremely down to Earth and very polite or to put it another way.... Petula is a Proper lady. I love hearing Petula in interviews she answers all the questions with great honesty and decorum. Plus of course her singing is exactly the same. Crystal clear, pinpoint accurate and precise in every note she sings. I have really enjoyed this clip of Petula on Parkinson. I believe she appeared three times on the show. Thank you so very much indeed for the upload it is quite simply brilliant.

I recall this episode from my childhood in everyone watched Parky back then. I always remember Tony Newley's reaction to Pet's assertion that she was madly in love with him!! Great, great talents in another age of true brilliance.
