6 күн бұрынThe 1.6 HDI DV6 Engine is fitted in loads of Peugeot and Citroen cars with a very similar engine fitted in Ford cars. They have a tendency for turbo failure and big end failure all due to blocked oil pick ups. This video shows you how to check this and prevent it.

I have a 2014 ford tourneo courier 1.6tdci , regular oil changes are a must, for me every 6000 miles. Cheers from Turkey 👍

Turbos do not have oil “seals” matey they have piston rings on the shaft. There is no seal to “blow out”. Mechanics never use chisels to remove a sump unless replacing it, if you look around it there are rectangular faces on the block to use to gently pry the sump off.
