Peugeot 3008 2021 review: GT Sport - European midsize SUV is like a luxury alternative to Mazda CX-5

Күн бұрынThe Peugeot 3008 is a midsize SUV from France that exudes European style and substance, but it comes at a cost.
The version our Family Reviewer Nedahl Stelio is driving in this review is the top-spec GT Sport, which has a sinister looking exterior black pack that makes it look dark and dashing.
The GT Sport costs $54,990 in Australia, rolls on 19-inch black alloys, and has a beautiful interior leather package which is optional on the other grades, as well as a Focal 10-speaker sound system and Lime Wood interior trim.
Suffice to say, the price is high but it leaves a very good impression. See what Nedahl and her two kids thought of it in this family review of the 2021 Peugeot 3008 GT Sport.

I have one, it’s easily the best car I ever owned. It looks great inside and out, quite comfortable and awesome to drive, and above all, I have space for the whole family!

I ordered one of these hybrids a couple of weeks ago. I looked at the Tiguan and fell asleep as the interior is so dull and plastic. The 3008 is in a league of its own whichever engine or trim level you chose. Looking forward to mine appearing in Jan 2022!

Bought a 2022 Peugeot 3008GT HDi (2.0L diesel). Driven it about 1000kms on the highway and around town. Very pleasing. (I updated from my 2012 308 2.0 diesel). Mine is an ex demo so I got it at a great price.

Bird noise were way beyond ambient noise.. maybe different location in the next one?Also with the loud music between b rolls.

Thanks again Nedahl for a great review. Couple of quick questions; Did you have any trouble being able to see the speedometer? Previous versions using the smaller steering wheel had people struggling to see the instrument cluster or did the flat top of the wheel remedy the issue? Also, did you notice what type of spare tyre was under the boot floor? Thanks again, I really enjoy your reviews.

No problem to see the speedometer. You can move the seat, steering wheel in all the directions.

from my experience people not seeing the speedo is more to do with them having weird incorrect seating positions, not the car having bad design

@@BlacKHellCaT78 unfortunately the previous Peugeot’s had a sport steering wheel that was smaller and blocked the speedometer for almost all drivers, nothing to do with weird seating positions.

Funny how the centre console and radio is angled towards the driver, wow the French have finally caught up with the Swedes. Even funnier is that SAAB was doing this on the first gen of the 9000 and continued throughout the production of the 9000 and then on the 900 model. Old news and style.

I had a 2012 308 (diesel) 5.0 - 5.5L/100 on a trip. 7.5L/100 around town. I have never heard of any Peugeot ever getting 14L/100km
