The more I hear her speak, the more I respect and admire her. Such a genuine, authentic, articulate young woman. I don't know if I have ever seen anyone handle that level of fame and attention at such a young age with such groundedness and humility before. So refreshing to see her embody, and be valued for possessing, qualities that healthy societies cherish. Kind of rare these days. That is as responsible for her allure as her incredible basketball skills. We have been starving for someone who actually deserves to be on a pedestal. Cultures are defined by their heroes and we have been lacking. Caitlin Clark is helping fill that void. A very bright spot of sunlight on an otherwise cloudy day.

@thoreau We have enjoyed her articulate responses to any question for the last 3 years here at Iowa. It would have been 4 years, but the COVID year didn't let us see much, but we have sure made up for lost time, and now we get to see her play professionally. We had hoped she would take her COVID year and really blow up the records, but she decided that she had accomplished everything she could at Iowa and declared for the WNBA. She is wise beyond her years, and she has gotten a top college education thanks to a basketball scholarship.

@@bradlott3284 Cool. Unfortunately for anyone else who likes her, she has a boyfriend, and they are close. He was a baller at Iowa, graduated a year ago, works for the Pacers, so Caitlin was happy to be going to Indiana.

How did she find time to executive produce and edit a documentary? Good grief.

They don’t practice for 8hrs every day! My god basketball 🏀 is exhausting!

@@Juke582 I'm fully aware of that. But until recently Clark was in college, so finding the time to a) practice, b) keep fit, c) play, d) do college work and then e) edit and produce a TV series is impressive.

It's a bit stressful to see this young lady associated in any way with Peyton Manning. Every time I hear his name, I can think of only one thing. After Denver's victory in the Super Bowl, a lady broadcaster was trying to interview him on the field and all he kept saying was, "I want to drink some Budweiser," over and over again. It was obviously a promotion deal he had with Budweiser but it was so inappropriate at that moment. She's class. He isn't.
