Haha this build is ridiculous and I mean that as a compliment. Riding a triceratops into battle while rapid firing your crossbow into a horde of demons is peak Pathfinder.

You can switch some of the Fighter or Arcane Archer levels with 10 Eldritch Knight to get Spell Critical, which automatically quickens your next spell whenever you crit. In this game, Spell Critical also works with ranged attack, it actually seems to work with all crits. With so many attacks, you'll pretty much get a free quickened spell every round.

Fantastic build my friend, i just had the encounter with Forn Autumn Haze were he abushes you with a bunch of drow eldritch archers that throw scorching ray and full bow attacks and tought how nuts it would be a build that drops full hellfire ray and bow attack at the same turn...

Love these new types of builds! Would you ever consider something with Hellknight? I know there are some special dialogues that unlock with them so it could be a build with some RP potential.

Since you are going with Eldritch archer, Hide Armor of Elemental Carnage is a better choice IMO. It adds 1 damage per die roll with your spell. And also Ambrosial Attire of Arcane Annihilation has the same effect. You need at least 1 level of the arcane trickster to get that but since you're going with the trickster mythic path that won't be a problem (It has sneak dice). If you want to go further, you can dip 1 level crossbreed sorcerer. That adds 2 more damage per die roll, and 45*4 = 180 plan damage in total to hellfire ray.

The problem with hellfire ray is that half the damage is unholy, so half of that 180 damage is lost, it is really 90 extra damage which is still good.

The bonus are added before the conversion to unholy. No damage lost

The buffs from companions/gear obfuscates all of your builds. For example look at Attack Bonus: True Strike +20, Sacred Hearth +13, Touch of Madness +10, Mark of Justice +?, Skald Song +8, Divine Power +6, Weapon Enhancement +5, Belt of Perfection +4, Greater Heroism +4, Demonslayer Soup +3, Bane of Spirit +2, Conflagrant Taco +2, Burst of Glory +1, Haste +1, Boots +1, Web Armor +1, Total >+80 Attack Bonus. And that list isn't even complete. Showing off no-buffs, equipment buffs, self-buffs, and finally every buff would give players more realistic expectation for performance. I like the builds, but a level 20 Commoner would 1-round Mythic Vavakia with the above list.

Agreed on that count, I'd rather see self-buffed values. Although it must be said that cRPG Bro builds generally tend to be fairly self-sufficient and can be slotted into most parties, not so for a lot of munchkin builds that you often see elsewhere.

agreed, I think more and more guides in RPGS in generol also need to show case the build at differnt parts of the game / at differnt levels is it effective late game? Seems like it, but how it strength early-mid game? Arcane casters in this game for example tend to not do well at the early-mid game on the harder differcultys due to SR/Resistenace/ST/Immunitys, Sure later on when they have enough feats and abilitys it shows them to be amazing but almost eveyone who has played this game will admit Arcane casters in the early-mid game suffer greatly / have a hard rough time of it.

Two questions: Will poison ever get an assended mythic form to let it be useable? Is there any solo sneak melee builds (knife master I hope)?

Technically a Slayer Executioner with Witch of the Veil dip might be able to sneak in, execute (Executioner ability), then run to drop aggro, then rinse and repeat. Otherwise a pajama tank legend with sufficient defenses can trigger Sneak attacks on its own using dreadful carnage + shatter defenses.

Hey friend, I would just like you to confirm one thing for me regarding Outflank, for I am fairly certain it does not work until you have snap shot. Outflank's text requires you to be flanking the same target as your ally, and you should not be flanking anyone as a ranged character since you cannot threaten them without the Snap Shot feat. I believe I have tested this before, but I may be wrong, so if you could confirm that it works, I would appreciate it. I will say that I do use Seize the Moment, and that one does work very well, since its only requirement is whether or not you crit. Of course, without snap shot, your own ranger won't be able to do attacks of opportunity himself with it, but their allies will. Thanks in advance! As a fun side note, I was able to break Ember(again) in this patch due to loremaster having trickster feats, and now her hellfire rays crit on a 17 and deal 900+ damage per ray. Unfortunately, this won't last, but I already have another plan for her once the new patch hits and I need to make a new build for her. Doesn't beat the whole infinite damage deal she had with elemental barrage, but one makes do :) Have a good one everybody!

Honestly by the time you go Legend, you can truly go with whatever feats you want, as you'll have the most important ones by level 20. I suppose you can go for the Snap Shot line since you have the space for them! Skill boosters can also work.

I think you've been sleeping on Monk archetypes for Trickster to Legend builds. You can still have 10+ levels of Monk and, unlike the Paladin, a Monk can still use their powers even if no longer Lawful. In the case of a bow build for example, 1 dip in sohei gives you 1 extra Attack at full BAB thanks to Flurry of Blows. With a 3 level dip you get another extra attack thanks to Ki Power: Extra Attack. If you can squeeze in 11 levels of Sohei (admittedly not easy to do) you get another extra Attack at full BAB. This all stacks with Haste, Rapid Shot and Manyshot, meaning that you can get up to 7 arrows/bolts at full BAB, which is pretty ridiculous :)

Do you know how cleaving shot interacts with vital strike, ie, does it apply normal or vital strike damage? If the latter, a high threat range crossbow vital strike build build be pretty strong.

I think it applies normal damage, since the mythic ability states you deal your weapon damage to surrounding targets.

@@Killbot224 I wouldn't trust the wording tbh. The cleaving finish ability certainly used to do vital strike damage not normal damage off a vital strike, though I played it about a year ago so it may have been patched.

@@Syaniiti You can't do trickster with it, but I've seen someone put some Sohei in there. It turns you into a mobile auto tourret on your horse with a big throwing range. Sohei weapon training in throwing axes makes them able to flurry of blows with them.

@@Zephlo97 Technically you'd only need 1 sohei to get flurry, 11 is a bit much and being chaotic doesn't stop flurry from working, just stops you from taking monk levels.

I mean using it as many times as you want due to Completely Normal Spell turning it into a Cantrip. It will only apply for a single attack per use indeed, but you can pretty much use it before every battle starts this way!

SR is not an issue because you only gain the spells from Eldritch Archer at Chapter 5, so when you become a Legend. By that point you can just have an ally wear Zaori's Headband to trivialize SR. Also, the build does get Fighter's Tactics + Allied Spellcaster which has the same effect during level 20+ 😃

Allies don't get a free attack on an enemy you crit unless you're both flanking. So it will only be useful with snapshot.

Yes! Which is why we start as a Fighter for great bonuses even early. However, do note that you have to go the Trickster Path first before becoming a Legend for this build to work at maximum potential.
