I love how golfers perform both the probable and improbable, and almost as a unit, have the same reactions--acting like they've been there before, whether they have or haven't. I can't get enough of their modesty.

These guys all swing almost the same way and look a lot alike. It's the fitness generation -- everyone looks like they work out. What I miss is the leg driven reverse C style swing from the 70's. Most don't do that anymore. They take a big wide arc, and it's all mid-torso and upper body. It's probably that way because they all work out so much.

Could I ask for an example of this? I've gotten into golf over the past year and feel like my swing is pretty leg driven but I'm still not too educated on picking up details like that

And that Ladies and Gentlemen shows why they are pros and we are not. A lot of people can do what they do, but not at the consistency that the pros do. I have done everyone of those shots, about 1 or 2 a year. They do it every round. Awesome skills and talent, and LOTS of Practice.

4:10 LOOK at the balance and stillness in his head and torso at that angle. Smooth accel/decel and perfect compression. Edit: look at the toe of the left foot on the finish.

@@anthonywarren8764 No they aren't idiot. White is OB. Red is lateral hazard. You can play out of a lateral hazard or move ball near where you entered hazard for 1 penalty stroke.

10:27 "You never know what you might see on the golf course." how much corn do you have to eat for that to make sense? Just roll it around the inside of your head and hear the clangs that it makes....while you watch this tee-shot, and feel the pain of this guy for making it onto this video twice..."you never know what you'll see..." a guy hitting a draw to the inside of a dogleg left around a lake? Yeah.. this is golf. Almost certainly you're going to see that. and say, "...oh no, Max..." and then... 10:35 it's like he's been reincarnated as Jean van der Velde... I mean, dude, you're not going try to pitch onto the fairway away from the hole just to get on the fairway are you...yes, you are... dude you would have gotten a free drop and that same lost stroke if you'd just taken a lateral-hazard 20 yards back up the fairway. why risk not even getting it up out of the water just to save 20 yards?

Yeah, but it was the shot to get them on the green that allowed them to save par. 98% of Golfers would not be able to hit those shots to save any sort of score.

Can’t say the same for Horschel. 100% Luck. Also, he is only 23rd in the world. Tiger was 1st for more than 600 weeks. Johnson is currently 3rd. So much better than Horschel. Horschels wife was an alcoholic. Johnson has 2 majors; Horschel has none. No slander here. 100% facts. Sorry Billy.
