I have a theory about the reason the priest was kicked. Since he is an experienced healer he probably wasn't healing people above like 40% as there was no need. Ive met many players who consider the healer bad if they are not above 90% at all times

I am a lifelong healer, In every game I can, I play a healer or as close as I can. I have been kicked from a levelling dungeon twice in my life for "doing damage" In the most recent case, my healing perfect, monk tank never dipped below 80% with my resto druid hots on them. My crime was that I also did sunfires and swipes, moonfire spam, and because I was doing more damage than 2 of the dps, I got kicked. The quote I have screenshotted from the monk tank themselves was: "healers don't do damage here, or they cant heal, learn to play before coming back" The kicker is that this was my horde druid, I am an alliance druid main, I push as high as +24s on there, I feel like I have a passable grasp on the class at hand. So I feel confident in saying that I did nothing wrong, and that there is some bonkers opinions on the role of a healer out in the world of warcraft. Thanks for the show Preach and crew

The priest in the first story probably got kicked cos they didn't have heirlooms. That's pretty common.

Priest Friends, he probably got kicked because FFXIV healers don't heal unless you will die from next mech and just dps. WoW healers try to keep everyone near 100% all the time.

easiest way to get someone kicked from the group is in the reason box you put "click yes if you hate terrorism". LOL. works EVERY time. Also back in the day it was fun when if someone from your personal party got vote kicked while you were group lead, you could just invite that person back an infinite amount of times lol. My friends and I were teenage menaces back then.

As a healer, I do damage in dungeon not because I enjoy it but because I have to. I look at it in the same way I do other chores that I would rather not do but have to, with all do respect to those who feel differently..

These new players will be leveling with people like me that quit shortly after BFA launch and have lots of alts still at 50. I'm just as lost about some of my classes. I'm leveling the priest next or maybe druid.

2 things - I'm the sort of person that unless I am aware of what is going on, a person has dc'd, gone afk, or is clearly being toxic in grp chat, I will always click NO for vkick. Its ridiculous sometimes how ppl are, ESPECIALLY in extremely low level dungeons. Idr an achievement in Cata for catching squirrels but I do remember an achievement where you had to climb up a grp of trees in Hyjal to rescue the bear cubs, tossing them down on a trampoline.

I honestly and truly don't think wod, bfa or shadowlands was bad. Sl and wod had questionable design issues. Azerite, conduit energy, early toughest. And sl and wod had major issues with pacing and patches going too long. But I do honestly believe the cores were good

I don’t run dungeons

Leveling in BFA dungeons is hard for everybody because they have mechanics that aren't explained and will wipe the group. Less than half of people in them learned how the first time around. You used to level in classic dungeons which are much simpler and give new players a much better experience when just getting used to group combat. Huge mistake on Blizzard's part. Plus, the talents you have at early levels mean you lack many key abilities which might help the group live. RIP.

I got kicked once in LFR for being top dps on the meter people got mad I was doing double the dps of 2nd place 🤣

for me telling some one to kiss your squirrel is always uncalled for. you dont know what people are going through in their minds. a flippant joke to you might be a final message to someone in a vulnerable state.

BfA was absolutely worse than Warlords because it absolutely threw the Night Elves, the Horde and Sylvanas under the bus. Say what you want about WoD, it sucked with nothing to do but was ultimately harmless it didn't do any irreparable damage to the game.

Worst to Best BFA WoD Shadowlands People have a huge recency bias against Shadowlands, but honestly only 9.1 was bad. 9.0 was a great for launch, and 9.2/9.3 began the changes that people love so much (Cross faction, return of tier, tier being accesible outside of raids). The Maw was fixed in 9.2, Torghast was fixed, the grinds were almost entirely removed etc. BFA was fucking bad for just about every patch and basically unplayable on launch. Azerite was a broken mess, islands were both required to access your gear and also randomly re-tuned on a weekly basis so the way of handling them swung from thing to thing. Warzones were dull and uninteresting but semi-mandatory for gear catchup. The only saving grace is that the leveling zones were stunning, but Uldir was also a mid to bad raid. 8.2 began to make some changes but the fucking requirements for some essences were absurd and just unfun. And like preach says 8.3 on launch was awful for corruptions and basically lacking any major content. WoD was brilliant on launch and then just had nothing. Which is obviously bad, but you could just go do other things with your time in the week and then log for the raids, which were all brilliant.

Dungeons are the worst part of WoW and Mythic+ are the epitome of anti fun gameplay. It's insane that so many people are forced to do them to progress in raids. Fuck dungeons. All my homies hate dungeons.
