Cyrus the Great did conquer Gandhara. There are historians who believe that Alexander's push to India was to punish India for its archers wreaking havoc on the Greeks in previous wars. Too, before the Muslim Selljuk conquest, both "Turks" and Greeks were Hellenes. Subsequent Turkish post Islamic conquests could also be considered Islamized Hellenes doing what their pagan forebears had historically done. On the other hand, Indian Hindus even fought at Karbala like their ancestors had with Imperial Persia, and their Hussaini Brahman descendants still consider Shia Imam Hussain their Guru and perform their children's mundans in his name. There's much more complexity to Indian history than the stark and often flawed approach that British Raj era historians took.

Bharat should not aim to model itself after western concepts or shape itself into a western thinking . Movements like Me too movement , women's day , valentine's day , mother's day , black lives matter movement , woke movement etc etc . Should be rejected . They have no relevance to Bharat which has adequate guidelines drawn out of a long civilization .

Only in areas where the US companies are in contest with Indian companies. For example, they cancelled covaxin through WHO to get leverage for American pharma companies and punish India for its pro-Russia stance. You could expect something similar with infy, TCS for whom Accenture, IBM are competition. Sensing this, all the tech giants have divested of their Russian holdings for they seem to have done their cost benefit analysis.
