🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 if one suction is already awesome! 3 will definitely be remarkably epic! It's the best way to use the selfie stick on the back! The single cup is too weak n Great video/ review once again mate! This is s must have because my convertible has a fiberglass trunk for the top and I can't use a magnetic mount

Roof bars (you only need to fit one) and physical clamp on handlebar style mount. I definitely would not rely on any kind of suction mount or magnetic mount. At 3m fully extended, even if the mount did not detach, you are likely to flex the body panel you have attached to and may cause some visible distortion. Clearly that depends on where you attach your mount, but I would go with a mechanical connection.

The limit is 1.5kg so depends what camera and lens - In theory it would be ok but I would want a tether point just in case - I would also position the arm flat so there’s no weight on it.

You can probably put a cloth in between the car and the magnet. Snap Mount even comes with such a cloth, so it doesn't damage the paint. 3 mounting points are more solid than 1. I'm sure the mount could be removed, Hugh Hou removed his entire car from the road!!! You just need a tracker and content aware fill frame by frame. Most amateurs probably don't need to bother. It helps that your car is black. In a couple of years, AI will remove mounts and tripods instantly.

Yes it can definitely be removed but most amateur shooters don’t need to bother as you say.. yes the ai is there already just needs to be implemented into the app. Thanks for watching

Have you tried this with the Insta360 extended selfie stick out the back of the car? I am looking for something stable. I am not intending to drive fast, maybe 30mph/50kph

I didn’t want to risk it because of the extra leverage - if you do try it then you need to brace it some how otherwise the thread could easily snap with the bounce of the stick

It’s safer but not more stable in terms of the bounce. To make it more stable you need another arm that braces the selfie stick. I couldn’t say how far you could go with it. I usually like to keep the length of the stick shorter for safety.

Will this work on a motor bike windscreen? I like the idea of the 3 suction cups for added security.

I haven’t tried it - depends how rigid the screen is for pushing the cups on. I’m not sure I’d want to risk it in front at a long length.

How do you upload better quality videos on Instagram. My Instagram reel videos always get super compressed and become blurry and choppy even if they're exported in 4K at 100bitrate. I have seen other people upload high quality videos on Instagram from the same camera (one x2). Please let me know if it's a region problem.

If it plays ok before you upload it then it must be something Instagram is doing with the compression - maybe regional I don’t know

I wouldn’t recommend it but some people do use it like this - I think it’s too dangerous as there will be a lot of force on the connector thread and on the mount itself

How to add the selfie stick and extend it securely, what mount is helpful in that case ?

I wouldn’t extend a selfie stick on a car unless you have a second arm supporting the selfie stick with a clamp. No matter how strong the suction the selfie stick is only secured by a tiny thread and could easily break under the pressure if you extend it. The best way is to use the new bushman pro or similar so you can attach the monopod on the same de of the car from two fixing points on the side of the stick. Any ideas how to mount a selfie stick for higher view but keep the selfie stick in position? My pgytech mount like this wont support the stick too. Seems like the ball head joints cant get tight enough to keep the stick upright. Frustrating.

The ball joint is always the weakest point of these mounts. Im always worried about long selfie sticks on cars because the extra leverage on any mount always makes it more vulnerable. I’ve seen others use a double or single suction mount for the stick and then a separate single mount with a small magic arm that holds onto the selfie stick so it acts as a brace. You could try that but just run some tests first.

I’d recommend lens protection more than a cage - I tend to take risks a lot of the time but if there are more cars around and you’re travelling at speed then definitely lens protection. A cage would only be useful if it fell off.

Yes but you’ve got to be careful with the leverage at longer extensions as it will make the small arm bend. Really you just want to use it without a stick attached.

Hi everyone. Any recommendation for the same idea but strong enough and safe to use the largest selfie stick from Insta 360? At the moment to fully extend the super large stick it seems that I won't hold that stick when it bounces with the car movement

Hey I am having the same issue. Have you found a solution for this? Really need some help. I Can’t find a good mount that has a ball swivel that holds up to car bumps. Bought an Amazon $100+ delkin mount & having the same issue as you.

@@pwisc2115 hey I found out on these types of mounts the ball swivel attachment just needs to be rotated so the stick can only move side to side & not up & down. This allows the stick to stay in place on the car & not slide down after hitting bumps because it can only move left or right compared to up & down. I’m using a delkin mount so yours may be different but this seems to solve my issue
