How are the placements after phd from iit delhi and how much time does a phd take usually?

Placement in CSE I know is good. Ph.D typically takes around 4.5-5 years, but it depends on guide and his demand.

@@Bytes_iitm i think it's a industry sponsered program and almost all the faculties are from cse department. So you can join it. Hopefully placement will be good as it's mostly cse related department. Still i suggest for better understanding talk with someone being there (doing mtech or phd)

Why didn't you join PhD at IISc it self . Since you already studied in IISc you could have directly join PhD

For PH.D guide and area of interest matters most than the institute. And the domain I am working, IisC is not the best place for that
