Most importantly, if you have not received forgiveness for your sins and asked Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior, it's not complicated or hard. Simply from your heart let him know you're sorry for all your sins, short comings, and failures. Ask for forgiveness from those sins and ask him to come into your life and change your heart and to give you strength and to lead you on this new path you have now started. There's no magic words to say, just cry out for forgiveness and mercy from your heart in truth and he'll be there. Beyond that, take the time to read the Bible, I would start with the New Testament, and find a Christ centered church to attend and start your journey as a follower of Jesus.
