PhD is full time (9-5 from Monday to Friday).. it’s around 3k$ per month tax free..

Dear Brother thank you so much for sharing such valuable insights. I have a question regarding a Ph.D. Stipend. Generally in Australia Universities, I have seen that the stipend amount is 31k$- 33K$. so the confusion here is, will I receive all this amount or some be cut down for the tuition fees charges? or even if not cut down will I be needed to pay my tuition fees or tuition fees is waived off? Looking forward to hearing from you soon, thanks.

No, not all. Your stipend will be tax-free. For tuition fees, you have another tuition fee scholarship that usually covers all of it.

Hi. I have just one doubt. Can you please let me know whether you scanned the both sides of all the documents or not for subclass 500 as it is written that "provide colour scan copies of both sides of all documents". In most of the documents, the other side is completely empty. I want your suggestion and would like to know what step you took. Thanks in advance.

I got scholarships from UNSW and all the process have been done, I have applied for my phd visa 2months before and there are some of my other friends who have applied around a year before and we are not getting any updates. Can you please give me a update regarding this. Why it is taking so long!!!

I have applied for PhD in QUT, and my application is under process. I am currently in Australia, arrived just 4 weeks before. I brought all hardcopies of my documents but somehow jus my graduation n post graduation degree certificates left in home country. Will university ask for hard copy of degree certificates as of now during PhD confirmation? Please reply try to reply urgently.

Were there any interim changes allowed in the research plan or topic if something goes wrong during the PhD research?

Hi, I would like to know how long it took the supervisor to reply to the initial email that was sent to them, specifically how long it took them to respond and when they agreed to be your supervisor. Please let me know! As I am also in the waiting period for a response from the supervisors, I suppose it has been a week since I have contacted them regarding a project I would like to enrol in.

Teaching options are there but not so easy to get. After PhD if you get relevant job then you will get PR within couple of months.

PR pathways are completely different here in Australia. You can aim for Global talent program which is very competitive or you can choose traditional way where you have to assess you degree and apply for PR via state nomination(based on credit system). After PhD you can choose either of the pathways and chances are depend upon your profile.
