Was all that paint added by a previous owner? I can't imagine the manufacturer chose to paint over a brushed brass finish, glass viewports, and etched designs.

This is a question, not a criticism. You have done this, and I haven't. Why do you use the electrolytic procedure so early on, even before cleaning and stripping the paint? It seems to me it would be most effective to do it last, just before painting, as it is better at removing the last traces of rust than other methods.

You're right! There was a lot of dirt on the surface. On some parts, I hadn't seen the paint underneath.😄

I think when you restore stuff it’s fine but when you go to painted it, ruins the antique value and when you go to resell it, it hurts the resell value like the video. Thanks.

You did an excellent job with the restoration but you want get a like or my subscription. Why? Well you could have made onion soup or something kind but to see the flesh of a pig and secretions of a chicken is just revolting. Not everyone is into cruelty and ignoring it.
