Most comedians on social media will only post their crowd work because its spontaneous and improvised, their actual sets you have to go see in person. They wont post their sets on social media so that A. Their jokes aren’t stolen, and B. So that we-the viewers-don’t have his jokes spoiled

This is a near perfect comedy set. He averages 3-4 jokes/ minute with about 6-7 laughs/ minute. He does one subject per minute and cleanly ends each minute on a punch with no tags. Finally he ends the set by brilliantly referencing back to his first joke about not taking care of his parents by using his mother’s own words about travel and long term care against her. That’s good standup. 🤣🤣🤣

I came across Phil randomly on Instagram one night, I laughed as I watched his clips. He is hilarious and has a perfect tempo for his craft. It's executed so well! Talented dude!

Phil is really funny but this type of venue doesn't show off his skill at interacting directly with an audience. His ability to respond with something funny to whatever an audience member comes up with is phenomenal.

I don't like it when comedians go on late night shows.... They rush their set because they don't have much time and they try to get as much of their material in as quickly as possible. It definitely felt rushed and not the Phil I love to watch normally.
