What a stalwart and faithful man. I remember when I first became a christian he was a big influence on me. I realized God had some of the best musicians as well. God bless you Phil and your whole family.

Thank you for sharing those scriptures in Psalms and your encouraging words. I first saw you play with Glass Harp at the Richmond Colosseum in Virginia fall of 1971. I was just entering my senior year in HS. Several years later, I became a believer in Jesus. I know God used you and Glass Harp to plant spiritual seeds in my heart on that night. My friends and I came to the concert to see and listen to Alice Cooper, but instead at least for me, your band took the show. I have been following your music ever since. My wife, Aline and I also just became grandparents for the first time ourselves this last August 2020. Phil, you have been a great example and encouragement to untold amount of believers in Jesus over the last 50 years. I can't wait to cast my crown along with you and hopefully millions of other believers purchased with His blood at the feet of Jesus, our Great Savior and Lord in heaven one day. Until then, let us continue to sow in the harvest field that is white with the souls of men, women and children ready to receive and believe in Jesus Christ, Lord of lords and King of kings.

How I wish I'd known of you, Phil, when I was not walking with God back in the late 70's & early 80's. I didn't even know there was Christian music that was as "cool" as secular music back then. So many of us conservative church goers were strongly discouraged from listening to ANY music that wasn't out of a hymnal. I'm not telling you anything you didn't already know...and experience. I THANK YOU for all your faithful years of ministry. All those times away from your family. Greed, control & corruption in the industry. THANK YOU for never giving up following your heart, sharing your passion, trying to display Godly character all these years. I wish you were a BILLIONAIRE because you deserve every penny of it!! But it's worth waiting for much greater riches in Heaven. Hugs & a million more musical daydreams, my friend.

Many blessings Phil and Bernadette. Saved at the age of 20 in 1978, discovered you shortly thereafter. I could not fully express the joy and the encouragement you have given me over all these years. God's word does not return empty and you have followed the Spirit by using it as your foundation. There is great reward for such faithfulness. Psalm 131 has become a favorite. To be as David who has composed and quieted his soul as a weaned child in its mother's arms. May you both hold your grandchild in such peace.

Hi Phil, I first heard your music in 1983, a friend gave me a copy of Play Thru Me and I was amazed. I wasn't a christian and couldn't believe Christian music could sound so good. I've seen you several times and I got your autograph on a Glass Harp album when the band had a reunion and came to Wichita. Your music was one of Gods instruments in leading me to Christ and has been a huge part of my life. Thank you for your faithfulness and beautiful music. You can't imagine the impact it's had on me.

Phil no artist in my Christian and musical life has influenced and encouraged me more than you. From the early 70's until now, there are times when nothing encourages and lifts me up more than putting on a great Phil Keaggy piece. As a guitarist and worship leader myself I appreciate your dedication to excellence and creativity. Keep it coming brother.

Thank you for your words of encouragement from God's Word and your heart. He is faithful and true!!! Thanks also for your wonderful music over the years and the way you share God and His wonders through the music you create. I've been a huge fan since about 1980. A friend asked me why I was listening to some of the music I was listening to at that time (unsavory to say the least for someone just staring out on my faith journey) and I told him that I really liked the guitars. He handed me an 8-track of Phil Keaggy and the 2nd Chapter of Acts - "How the West was Won", and I was an instant fan, and what great timing it was to receive such a gift. God used your music to changed my perspective about a lot of things during confusing times at the beginning of my faith walk. I went immediately to my local Christian bookstore and bought every piece of Phil Keaggy music I could - tapes and music books, and I still have them. Your music has been such a blessing to me throughout my life and the Lord has used it to help keep me focused. My wife never understood who this "Phil Keaggy" guy was until she got me tickets to see you at "The Bridge "Church in Lawrenceville, GA. When we left she said, "Ok, now I understand why you like him so much." You actually played a request for me that night - "Sunday School", one of my favorites. Anyway, thanks so much for your music, your heart, and your faithfulness to our Lord. Congrats also on becoming a Grand Dad. You're gonna have so much fun! Blessings to you and your family!

Hey brother. This is the first time I've seen this video of yours, encouraging people in this time of the big lie. I would first like to say, Thank You for stepping out and doing this when there is literally no voice from any other Christian musician that I can hear doing this. Were are the poet Warriors now? Where are all the Dove award winners when we really need them? You left Sparrow and went out on your own and wrote your music. I still have all my tapes from the late 70's/80's. I haven't forgotten. Music inspired by believers of the day challenged the listener with The Word of God and the world we lived in. (The Jesus movement) This world is not our home and we suffer so many things. All different, as Our Lord see's fit to put us through. At the bed side of one dieing, down the hall, a new born crying... So what do we do as believers in this time? Do we cower down, and just 'believe'? No, no we don't. Jesus said, Occupy till I come. He also said that he brought a sword that would divide a mother and a daughter. But like the scriptures you pointed out, our God is an awesome God that ordains His will. David cut the hair of Saul, but did not take his life. I've seen you in concert many times, and we have met. First concert was my home town of Rochester, New York back in the late 80's. The last time was my new home in Jax, Florida. You signed my 91Gibson Les Paul & I sang to you playing, "Happy" on that same guitar. I was 24 years in the United States Navy, as a believer in Christ, and, like I said, your music went all over the world with me. Kept me going many times. Not hero worship brother. Fellowship as the New Testement Church was founded on. If we don't fight we will loose everything, so what was it all worth? We all have our parts to play. I do thank you for at least saying something.

Funny to hear from you at this time. As I've been navigating the pandemic guess what I've found myself listening to? Yep, Phil, it's been your music. I've found it to be comforting and encouraging. You have pointed me to Jesus and his presence during these strange days. I began to walk with the Lord Jesus in 1977 --- you and your music has been a mainstay for the entirety of my spiritual walk. Thank you, Phil, for those encouraging words and Words of Wisdom from His Word. First heard you in Germany through my twin in early 80s. Seen you in concerts and met you few times too. Last time was at the fair in Oympia, WA. I think I bought you one of the best Apple ciders and Apple fritters!! We even have a picture of you with my family. Thank-you Phil for taking the time to speak words of truth, words of exhortation and encouragement to remain faithful and to remain in Christ though all circumstances (keeping our eyes on Him), including in these difficult times with the pandemic. Thank you Phil... After meeting the Lord in '77 "What a Day" became a huge blessing as I transitioned from the secular music I grew up on... Beatles, Stones, Grateful Dead. Early in my walk I remember waking early with your tunes still in my heart from the day before. This morning I thought, "I should add 'What a Day' to my play list-indeed I will! Phil, thanks so much for posting today! I remember as a 5 year old boy listening to Love Broke Thru for hours upon hours. Little did you know that many days you were my babysitter! Your music has always been a part of my life, and I've been to countless concerts of yours. I've had Master and Musician playing constantly for the last month and haven't stopped. I remember the first time I ever heard Phil Keaggy. A song called "Disappointment". I have loved Phil's music ever since. I still listen to the "All At Once" CD a lot, and my favorite song on that CD is "Fearless Love".

Thank you Phil, congrats on the new grandbaby, that I can wholeheartedly say is it true blessing from the Lord. I was introduced to you by a friend in 1976, saw you at a concert in Baltimore MD, did not know the Lord yet and my perception was “Christians aren’t allowed to play music like that… Please somebody tell me I’m wrong.” Thank the Lord above I was. Your playing, lyrics and singing have truly blessed and enriched my life, encouraged me and it has been food to my spirit and soul. I bought What a Day in England when good quality Christian music was scarce - your exuberance and joy was infectious and uplifting. Very happy to know you have been recording with Jean Watson recently. Holy Spirit flowed through you all these years.

Congratulations on the grandchild. Glad to hear you're doing well. I grew up near Kent, Ohio and have followed your career sense those days. I listened to an old recording of you guys live on WMMS with Billy Bass not to long ago. Really brings back some fond memories. Has it really been fifty years? LOL

Phil, you and my father-in-law may have went to High School either together or near each other. I was excited to hear this, since I've been a fan of yours since I was 5 years old (32 years ago)

Phil, your music has been a blessing for many years! Can I make an "impossible" request? How wonderful it would be to see and hear you sing "Oh Lord, You're Beautiful" by Keith Green somehow online with Matthew Ward and Michael W. Smith. Seems like Zoom is making a lot of things possible these days. I hope such a request would be considered. Glory be to God in the highest!

Thank you. I have been in a crisis of faith lately. I don't know God. I have forgotten how to pray. I only hope God knows me and brings me back. I am only able to pray to/with "Spirit". I was reminded by Spirit at 2am this morning to look for miracles and look for teachers. You were my teacher this morning, Phil. Thanks again.

Awesome Phil! So glad to see you strong in God still, because there are a few stories out there of christian artists leaving the faith or redefining their faith to the point it doesn't reflect scripture faithfully any longer. Glad the world's avails have not shipwrecked your faith. Love your guitar playing of course. Do you own a resonator (which model), and if so is there a song you've recorded where you can really hear it strongly? Cheers.
