9:08 -- there's no instrument in the world that makes this progression like a Wurlitzer. It's why the theater organ remains the mightiest of all. Well done, Mr. Kelsall!

New Hampshire, USA here. I have always enjoyed your performances. I have watched your youtube videos numerous times. You are such a talented musician. I enjoy your trademark techniques - especially your rapid rythmic movement from keyboard to keyboard. I am grateful for the hours of entertainment you have provided me for many years.

Phil kelsall always takes the "Blackpool sound" to wherever he plays. I think the Tower organ is only a 14 rank Wurlitzer and this one is a 25 rank if I'm not wrong ? . He always produces the goods

He plays exquisitely…….as if singing it in his head he takes the mechanical sound out of the machine. So smooth, and clear, he rates up there with Mike Reed now deceased.

Can I congratulate the COS for producing this first class video. Well done to those who tuned the Organ Nigel Laflin & Andrew Barham. It was a great video despite it looked like only one GoPro camera (wow)and Sontronics STC-1S Microphones used by Damon Cox. Well done to Producer Damon Cox. Edited excellently by Aaron Hawthorne. This type of high quality recording is the type of quality production I feel comfortable showing my non Cinema/Theatre organ friends to try and get them interested! I believe it is great to do some recordings on the hoof, and are sometimes the only ones possible, but this has this has that touch of class! From Phil Kelsall and his top class playing and dressed to look the part, to the great lighting, recording quality and editing. This is what we need to promote the organ to a new audience. Lastly a Big thank you to the fact that this was Uploaded with kind permission of Phil Kelsall. I appreciate organists must make money, however I do believe in speculate to accumulate. A Free Promo video today on KZfaq, maybe an uploaded or purchased recording tomorrow. Superb one and all!

I remember the days before the world wide Web 🌐 if you would have pointed a video camera at Phil kelsall in the Tower Ballroom, he would have gone absolutely mental. My husband got that side of him He's mellowed out in his later years thats for sure !

Wonderful to see this: I was at an awards ceremony at the Troxy 2 years ago, where this lovely instrument was played above a bedlam of corporate 'networking' chatter - which I eschewed to stand by the console and enjoy. How lovely to hear Phil playing this without the bedlam. Enjoyed every minute! More please!!!

I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed this video. I always love Toot Toot Tootsie, especially with piano and xylophone. What an installation and thank you for sharing. One question, during Toot Toot Tootsie and Hello Dolly, how is Mr Kelsall accomplishing the quint and tierce effect, I see no coupler tabs and the “Unison Off” seems to be in use on the solo, is there is a set of GT to SO couplers programmed in that can be accessed by piston only? Thank you and I would love to know.

Just seen your comment, Jacob. Yes, there is a 'secret' to that Unison Off tab :-) Can be switched in our out as desired from the Ztronics relay.
