Phil Kelsall at the Tower Wurlitzer playing one of the most recognisable Tower Ballroom waltz tunes, 'Fascination', followed by Ernest Broadbent's signature tune, 'For You'.

I always enjoy watching your videos Mr.Hughes, and of course those of Mr.Hopkins, showcasing Phil's almost superhuman talent at the WurliTzer, and serving as a constant reminder to me (and I am sure many others) of "how it should be done", giving us something to aspire to. Nice also to now see your video offerings in HD! Thanks again. Eddie.

'For you' was always played by Ernest Broadbent before his performances, he didn't use beside the seaside like Reg Dixon, he also was very helpful in getting Phil Kelsall his tower Wurlitzer experience and some say he got him the job, when he realised he was not going to be able to continue with poor health! I wish they would put back a real piano on the organ as i always think that midi one sounds so false and life less ?

This guy is simply the best theater organist in the world. Phil has been entertaining the public from the red topped bench of the worlds most famous Wurlitzer since 1977. He makes it look so easy. Trust me its not... It takes years of playing it to do what he dose. Having played it several times this is by far the greatest of all Wurlitzer's in the world. Its also A one of A kind as no other was made to this ones spec.

Actually, The Empress Ballroom Wurlitzer was also made to an identical specification as the Tower Ballrooms as was in 1935.

Phil Kelsall certainly isn't the 'Best Organist In The World',iv'e seen him drop notes, and even forget the melody of a waltz number,The top two English theatre organists today have to be Robert Wolfe ,and Simon Gledhill.

@@paulkersey7564 Phil is one of the best, he follows in same the mould as Reg, & he was the greatest of them all.
