Phil Robertson Not all women like or drink fancy scmancy coffee. I am a 67 year old Cajun woman born and raised in New Orleans. My momma taught me how to make coffee. We boil our water and slowly hand drip it through a filter into the coffee pot. No coffee maker. Very strong. By hand dripping it, the water pours slowly through the coffee and has time to marinate. New Orleans blend Community Dark Roast. I grew up with Chicory but when I had Lyme disease in my thirties I couldn't tolerate the Chicory anymore. Also we use no cream or milk. Can't even stand the smell of hazelnut. I agree with you also about where are the men? My daddy fought in WWII in the Navy. Nobody messed with him. Great horseman, champion swimmer. My hero. He later was part of the Jefferson Parish posse. They rode with the police at night as volunteers. They also rode in the parades on horseback for Mardi Gras.
