Thank you guys. I watch all your guys’ videos. I have your books. I never watched Duck Dynasty when it was out, but I started watching it about a 2 months ago. I was instantly hooked. When it was over, I was so sad, I wanted more, so I found you on utube. I was in a dark place in my life, and u guys saved me. I now crave the holy word. I was brought up in a lil shack in the woods of Montana. We also lived off the land. (Mostly). I miss those days. Yep,,,, too many yuppies running and ruining our country. We need more like you. I still have the cabin in the woods, it’s my quiet place. I too see God in our woods.💙

They are my second family I know exactly what you're talking about. My evenings consist of listening to that podcast and reading Bible. I can't say I was in a dark place but due to some of the things taking place in the world I strayed a bit, yet Phil Allen Jason and Zack open my eyes and got me back on track. As Christians we need a like minded Brotherhood to support Direct and Enlighten us. I consider myself your brother as well if you ever need someone to talk to. Love and respect

My husband and I just moved out of Atlanta and bought some land and a country cottage in a very rural area! Praise God! What a blessing! It’s so good to get back to a simp,Er way of life. The Lord has gotten our attention and called us back to Him! There is nothing sweeter than Jesus!✨✨✨

I recall as a child in the early 60's we had a party line, rotary dial telephone. It is a wall phone in my parents home, and still there today. You can't make a call from it, but you can still talk on it if there's a call already in progress. Dad had the old three minute egg timer, if my sisters or I got a call, after the three minutes was up Dad took the phone away, and hung up, you could be mid sentence, didn't matter, you were done talking. If the phone rang while we were at the table for a meal, it just rang, we didn't interrupt the family meal for the telephone. We were generally to busy around the house to be tied up on the phone. Each of us kids had chores to do, and school work. We had fun together as a family, and looked forward to going to church, and the fellowship that followed. I have a cell phone, I'm on it now, only Internet access I have, but I'm well into my 60's, and understand this device I'm holding is as dangerous as a copperhead snake, more so to children. I do think children should have a flip phone, no Internet access on it, and programed to dial their parents, grandparents, or 911 only.

I was in the hospital one day with my daughter because she was sick I ran into a young man and he was there for help too and I had told him my story about how I stopped doing drugs and so on he had asked me do I speak in churches or what where do I speaking events I tell them no I tell my story to people that I think it would help them that there is some hope out there for everyone you just have to believe in yourself and Jesus

I've been saying for a long time (long before Trump, long before Obama): Where did all the adults go? That's a big part of our society's problem, sadly. A couple of years ago I was at a grocery store, and the checker and woman in front of me, who apparently both had children the same age in the same class (elementary school-age!), were each complaining to each other that they had no idea how to get their children off of their computers and phones, that it was affecting pretty much everything in a negative way. I couldn't help but overhear and wow??? I was absolutely stunned, and that same old question returned again. Took everything in my power to hold my tongue and maybe I should have said what I was thinking, "Who's in charge? You all are the adults. Their parents. You CAN take the computers and phones away, set limits, monitor them, etc." It's very sad how many parents have relinquished their duties as parents. The majority of trolls on the internet are teenagers, bitter because of no real parental guidance or boundaries (which deep down children DO want so that they know they're cared for and safe), left to themselves and their devices, and so who are they learning from? The internet, which is filled with lies, propaganda, vulgarity, inconsistencies on about every subject under the sun, and other trolls. Besides the obvious danger of that, it's so heartbreaking. As believers, we NEED to be praying about this ongoing problem. God is our only hope, but then He always was, which is what America lost sight of (which really grew legs beginning in the late 50s and 60s, like Phil was saying.)

God put this on my heart as I finished listening to the podcast (which was great, thank you): Something I have to remember to do that's really important, that we all should do, since we have faith in what Jesus did and taught, is to pray for our enemies. Prayer is very powerful; HE is powerful to save, and that's what we need... “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? If you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? Therefore you are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect." (Matthew 5: 43-48) And forgiveness and praying for our enemies IS hard (that ole sinful human nature that's inclined toward ourselves and wants to be "right"), BUT I want people I've hurt in my life to forgive me as Jesus has, and I need others to pray for me that I don't go astray, and so I've got to pray for them, for their souls, my good, and God's Glory. So, let's all pray for those caught up in the enemy's lies and the perpetuating of them. Thanks again, and God bless.

Jase mentioned that someone said that the Bible is stale, I think that if you change how you ingest it, it may change your mind! I just downloaded an app on my ancient iPhone that has hundreds of languages and versions of the Bible and I click it on at work with my dollar store earbuds and I’m riveted! I can’t turn it off! I listen for hours! Just a thought- maybe try listening to it! I love what you guys are doing, GBY! ♥️

Wow this is som great insight, I’m a teenager myself and I have never had social media and I never will and I have never been happier. My parents outlawed social media from me and at first I didn’t understand and I complained but now that I’m in my late teens I’ve come to realize that they did me a favor and all I need is god the father almighty.

That is so true my daughter does it so fast it's unbelievable I can barely text as is but I can't do it as fast as her but the time she gets a certain age her hands will be hurting from texting too much pain and most young people will be hurting their hands too because of texting when they get older.

Production value (monetization) of the podcast frequently interrupts the move of the Holy Spirit . I believe that you are godly men “in whom there is no guile”. Praying that you will be able to be on some type of platform that will not ultimately be “all about money”.
