You know what I like most about Phil? He enjoys the living hell out of playing rock guitar, and it shows. His sincere joy is infectious. I don't see any pretense with him, all I see is the massive thrill that a kid feels the first time they crank up an electric guitar and the sound of a power chord goes right through their body and shakes their bones. I feel you Phil!!

I find it hilarious that a place like that had a rock guitar performer. Usually rock is played in different venues. I think Phill X is one of the best guitarists who knows a lot of old rock songs.

I have watched this back to back twice and both time I find myself staring at the screen slack jawed in awe and wonder and utter enjoyment at how much raw ROCK Phil X just unleashed on that stage. It inspires me to go crank up my amp and just wail on my harmonica and maybe even my guitar. But after watching that I’m a little timid to pick up my guitar, I couldn’t even come close that fanjastic performance.
