This is why I feel most degrees and universities are a scam to rip people off. Society has made it essentially mandatory for you to have a degree , even though it is unnecessary in most instances.

It’s all about the field you choose. I got hired (on the first job I applied for) making $75k before I finished my Master’s degree and a significant portion of the alumni from my Master’s program make over six figures. One of them is the city manager of the city of Dallas and makes over $400k/yr.

Dude not everyone is tryna become a copywriter like her tho lol, you can get a degree in computer science which is in demand and eventually make way more then most trades… it all depends on the specifics, it’s not as simple as college vs trades, plus not everyone wants to work in the heat ruining their bodies…

My wife worked as a public teacher, was Nationally Certified K-2 teacher, had a Master’s Degree and 15 hours toward a PhD. She taught for 28 years in the classroom and the last 2 years as a Reading Intervention Specialist. The maximum salary she was paid was $65,000...and we still paid off her student loans. What we pay teachers is a national embarrassment.

College degrees are watered down. Not that college is not a good experience for most young adults. It’s the financial blow folks are taking. Unless, the degree is absolutely required for entry into a profession. Then, it may be worth it. Although, college is getting very expensive.

Dude buy now as we're heading into this recession. I just started focusing on my portfolio in 2021 and it's already worth 3.2MM. Rates are high but you need to underwrite your deals to make sure you can afford to pay. You're not going to cash flow now, but in 2-3 years you'll be wealthy.
