My nephew was diagnosed 3 years ago with testicular cancer that had spread to his liver, lungs, lymph nodes and 5 small spots on his brain. He played high school football and thought the pain was from training. He had chemo and a stem cell transplant that almost killed him but has bought him more time. He graduates high school this weekend and I couldn’t be more proud.

"If it doesn't get better in a couple days, come back." After years of dealing with my health problems and those of my Mom and other family members, I've learned that doctors know far less than we think they do. Don't hesitate to push, to advocate, for your health or that of a loved one. It is your body, your life. The best doctors are the ones who know their limitations and listen to their patient's questions and concerns without getting defensive. Otherwise, their ego is getting in the way of giving good care.

I have lost my youngest son 4 years ago in a motor vehicle accident. I could not believe my vibrant beautiful, lively son was gone and could not make peace. Today I praise God for blessings: He died during the accident, did not suffer a debilitating harrowing and painfull sick bed. No one else was involved in this accident, he was alone and no other vehicle was involved. He was starting to study his Bible, talking about questions he had in the Bible, praying, and believed in Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. There are quite a few personal things also which I can thank God for. I was in total shock, but have accepted that he does not live on earth anymore, but is in Heaven. God bless Kyle's family

My 48 year old cousin was hospitalized with COVID in December. While in hospital, he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that had already spread to his liver. Less than 2 weeks later, he was gone. What a shock they're experiencing now. As tragic as it is for your family member, you literally have the indecency to come on this comment board and tell us a story about a person who lived to be 48. FORTY EIGHT!!!!!!!!! Versus a 16 yr old child. This was a kid whom I'm sure he wished to have lived to see 21 let alone 48. Your comment had nothing to do with the loss of this boy (who never graduated, got married, had kids) but it had everything to do with you. As a cancer nurse I understand this. Let me explain. Acute leukemia can cause the white blood cells to double in 20 minutes. They are not strong cells and crowd out the red blood cells and platelets from the bone marrow. Therefore no cells to support life. No hemoglobin to carry oxygen to the organs and no platelets to regulate clotting or bleeding. White cells are worthless at fighting bacteria fungi or viruses. It is a horrible disease. My prayers to this family.😢

I wonder what has happened during these three years, if there has been any kind of event on a global scale that could have caused this explosion of disease and sudden death. 🤔

So many of us are wondering about this mystery, because excess deaths are happening all over the world, with the exception of a few countries. Certain diseases and conditions are coming out of nowhere, especially in younger people who have no history of problems.

Hi, Although these are horrific stories, there are many people who get diagnosed with leukemia and are alive and well today. Remember Ryan o Neil? He had and lived for many years with leukemia. Just think positive and be positive. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma over 30 years ago and they told me ten in ten years after treatment, it would be highly probable that I would develop leukemia. I got over that 10 year mark too. You got this❤

@@terripebsworth9623 Extraordinary (and non-sequitur) claims require extraordinary evidence. Do you have any? If not, you should reconsider spouting out random conjecture. C19 wasn't even mentioned in this news byte, and there's no reason to believe it has anything to do with this specific situation. Not that it's necessary for me to note this, too, but... no vaccine nor treatment has a 100% success rate. NONE. As in zero. For thousands of years, too. The data doesn't support "panaceas". What the data DOES support is readily available for intelligent people to access, research, and start doing some math and statistics. But even ONE PERCENT of Earth's population is an absolutely ginormous number. This is something that very few ever consider. Seriously. Take 1% of one-billion. The other 99% is obviously pretty huge, but when there are that many zeroes involved... people default to lame conspiracies and inanely unscientific conjecture. It's embarrassing, but then again, so is most of humanity.

It's impossible that he was happy and healthy one day and gone the next from leukemia. Healthy organs don't shut down in a day. That's a gradual process and there would've been lots of signs and changes along the way. Fatigue, weight loss, swollen lymph nodes. He would've been stage 4 at that point. It would've needed to be caught in an early stage to help him. Even if the doctor at the emergency room visit for the back had diagnosed it, there still would've been nothing to be done at that point. Yearly checkups and bloodwork on your kids is critical.

They diagnosed him with rhabdomyosarcoma they continued to run tests, then they said he had leukemia. He began treatment right away and he ended up dying from the amount of fluids in his body the nurses gave him. He was only in the hospital for 2 weeks. It’s still hard to wrap my head around what happened. We did an autopsy on him and they concluded he had leukemia and he could have survived had he been given the right care. So, for those who are saying the title is misleading, Leukemia is a group of blood cancers that affect the body's blood cells, mainly the white blood cells. Leukemias are blood cancers where the cancer cells can be found in the blood. There are several types, but 4 main types. The term leukemia covers more than one cancer, and they're cancers affecting the blood-forming cells in bone marrow. Before you judge the title, don't hesitate to research. Too many young folks are dying from this deadly illness. May this young man R.I.P. and his family find peace. 💙 .

My daughter was diagnosed on a Saturday morning and she passed the next evening. Acute Lymphatic Leukemia. She was only 18. Her body shut down so fast. She was allergic to Donated Plasma . It just moved too fast through her body. Doctor's were dumbfounded.

What the heck does that have to do with ANYTHING? I have very anti vax family members and my nephew has been just diagnosed with leukemia.

@@123Its_just_me If your nephew had the vax then his leukaemia would likely have been hyper massively accelerated that seems to be more what it's doing. It's unclear if it causes cancer in people who wouldn't have otherwise have got it, it might, no-one knows.

very sad,he was way too young to die like this. poor child. one of my ex partners had this lukemia when he was his age too, long time ago,he fought for years as a teenager. then it came back 6months into our dating.. he was in his late 20s. it was a 8months fight for his life, he was almost always at the hospital, this time chemo didnt work at all and since he already had bone marrow transplant done, there was not much they can do. he was hovering between life and death for so many months,at one time he wanted to kiL* himself,he coudnt take it anymore. he was so thin. one day they gave him a trial of some kind of new drug, 2months later i took him home and he started recovery, it was like a miracle... he was so weak and so slim but he started to get back little by little, today he is almost 40yr old. as hope he is happy somewhere ,where ever he is. :)

My heart goes out to the family, but at least he didn’t have to suffer for a long time, unlike so many others who have cancer do. I just lost my 44 year old sister in law to brain cancer, leaving behind a husband, 11 and 5 yr old kids.

@user-un7yy3rh6h Жыл бұрын
it's likely that he did suffer to some degree though. it's important to remember that just because he only got the diagnosis of his leukemia a day before his death, it doesn't mean that the leukemia magically manifested that day. his organs had fully shut down. he just hadn't had sufficient check ups done on him prior to reveal his leukemia (such as bloodwork) prior to it, causing the impossible window of not being able to cure the cancer.

Almost five years ago, I was living in Seattle, and I started experiencing extreme nausea, vomiting, and heartburn. I saw a doctor in Seattle who ran some blood tests, and unfortunately my liver was struggling. I couldn’t work anymore, because I felt so sick, and I had to move home. Shortly after moving home, my eyes and skin started turning yellow, so my niece took me to the hospital and they ran several tests. I was soon diagnosed with stage-2 Non Hodgkin Lymphoma, and started chemotherapy. I also received a blood transfusion and was in and out of the hospital several times. I’m now 4 years cancer free and will continue seeing my doctor every year or so until I’m 10 years cancer free

The rise in the number of deaths from cancer above the historic average is because of what is called turbo-cancers. The progress of these cancers is very rapid. This phenomenon has emerged only since the rollout of mRNA vaccines. There has been a big rise in death numbers across the board of diseases in highly vaxxed countries of the world since the rollout of the experimental gene therapy mRNA "vaccines".

Are you living under a rock? There is a large spike of aggressive turbo cancer in those who vaccinated for covid and even more for those who received the boosters. Most begin to have stomach issues, then sudden flu sickness during the summer seasons. Doctors will say it's the gallbladder but not find anything wrong. You will lose weight since you are unable to eat things you once ate without issues.

My son lost his gf in less than 24 hours of being sick. Because it was exam time, the ER doctor thought her pain was from a possible ulcer. Sent her home and she was up vomiting all night. Her parents found her unresponsive early in the morning and took her back to hospital. Echo cardiogram found aneurism had been slowly leaking. Life flighted her to another hospital. Once in flight she cardiac arrested. She was taken into surgery, but she did not survive. She was 18 years old.

@@jazzluvnmom Wow. That is so young for an aortic aneurysm. Makes me wonder if there was a cardiac birth defect? Anorexia or bulemia? Or did the vomiting make it tear? (These are rhetorical questions-no need to answer). How tragic. 😔 Thanks for answering.
