The date is 3/4/22 ordered this harness from this guy. Received it in 3 days, quality product. This man has better service than Chick-fil-A all by himself, if you buy a harness from him you’ll see it in 2-3 days and it looks twice as good and professional as the OEM harnesses, not to mention he will literally walk you through everything if you really need it! Well, I finally got the center console and jump seat swap finished. I will add a couple of comments or tips for anyone that is doing this. Before you set the center console in the truck, you need to look at some plastic pieces that hide a support for the dash that is just to the right of the gas pedal. If you pause Mr. Gamboa's video at 5:57 you will see the bare support to the right of the gas pedal. There are two pieces of black plastic that hide that support that must be removed or the side skirt on the driver's side will never fit into place. ] Another tip is that the side skirts can only be installed after the console is bolted in place but BEFORE you snap the top of the console with all of the electronics into place. There are slots in the side skirts that accept a plastic blade that aligns the top to lock the skirts in place. If you don't know about these items, you will take the new console in and out several times because things just won't fit correctly. I hope that this helps someone.

This video was very helpful for installing the center console in my 2014 Silverado. I installed my console myself and it only took me about an hour and a half.

I just got finished swapping out the jump seat for a center console using Phil's video and wiring harness. Everything worked just like he showed and it was super easy. If you are really serious about making this upgrade then get order the parts direct from GM and purchase a wiring harness from Phil. You cannot go wrong. And Phil is fantastic about answering questions if you have any. Thank you Phil for everything.

I ordered a console from eBay, the full brand new console and then the harness from P. Gamboa. I had questions and after emailing, I received responses within minutes. With this harness and his help this console installed quickly. Everything works as it should and I am happy with my new console. If you are considering this swap, buy this harness.

New sub here. I am looking at installing mobile ham radios in my GMC Sierra SLT 1500 2021 model. Mainly I am learning about where to route power through firewall and antenna cables from the tail. Thanks for your video talking about the console. Mine is newer and hopefully similar. I am also a member of GM-Trucks and have found some information there. I have a 2017 high country. I want to go from a center console to a jump seat. I’m a ham radio operator and CB. I would prefer mounting the radio bracket right to the center hump so I don’t have to chop up my console. This video helped me figure out a few things if I decide to keep the console and mount my radios in it. I appreciate any help or suggestions.

Have you run across the module for the seat heaters? I read it was located under that center console somewhere; which is how I saw your well done video. The module is GM 23192138. All 4 front elements on my 2014 Silverado are not working and this is common. Just trying to find where it is physically located to troubleshoot further. Thanks

I am trying to update the interior on my 2015 GMC Sierra. It is the Elevation Edition, and is a Double Cab, this is the first newer vehicle I have owned, and am wondering if this full center console could be converted into it? I guess by VIN my truck is considered a “Base”. I don’t know of any Base Double Cabs that have these, only the Crew Cab SLE and up trim packages. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I will be ordering a complete console on Monday 11/11/19. It will be out of a wrecked 2018 gmc sierra 1500 crew cab SLT. My truck is the 2017 gmc sierra 1500 SLE double cab. I already have the 12 volt and 110v outlets next to ash tray. The guy is supposed to send console along with any and all wires and cables that's connected to it. I bought a generic Amazon mini usb to female usb connector for my Android Auto connection, and plugged it in at the head unit, but i'm not getting any charge or signal.
