This is a study group that I did on 11/2 where I talk with various people struggling with passing their ASWB exams, answer various questions regarding how to approach the exam, and provide an easy overview of how to address community questions.

The ASWB Clinical Exam/Master Exam is a test that was made to determine whether or not an individual's level of knowledge of social work in a clinical setting is sufficient. You will have four hours to complete 170 multiple choice questions, including 20 pre-test questions, that test your knowledge in Human Behavior, Diversity Issues, Diagnosis and Assessment, Psychotherapy, Communication, Therapeutic Relationships, Professional Ethics, Clinical Supervision, Practice Evaluation, Service Delivery, and Clinical Practice and Management. To register, you must have at least a Master's degree from a social work program, and two years of clinical social work experience.

I so appreciate your passion and commitment to help Social Workers like myself pass my LSW exam. I am now confident that I know the material and will pass. I have learned and have a better understanding of how to break down questions. I take my exam this Friday, January 31, 2020 and expecting the Victory. Thanks again and God Bless you.

Hi Phillip! I passed my clinical exam on 1/25! I watched your videos and listened to a couple of podcasts and you were extremely helpful in understanding what the questions were asking for, and finding the right response!

A Bulk of the 2 exams I have taken were policy/community based, which I scored my lowest points in. It would definitely be helpful if you could focus a video on Interventions With Clients/Client Systems. (When you come around to it, no rush! Just an idea!)

Hey Phil, I graduated in May 2017. My goal is to take and pass the ASWB test by May 2020 . So... I need to study. But after all of this time where do I begin ?

Phil on the cps question how does the child’s age and abuse history come into play? Is it inappropriate to ask the daughter about her abuse in front of her abuser? I’m thinking along the lines of retaliation or additional abuse if the daughter admits that the mom did something.
