An excellent, spirited performance! Bravi to soloists, orchestra and conductor. Philip Glass is a treasure, and I am happy that so many people perform his music.

Awesome! While watching these two ladies perform and listening to what they were playing, I was reminded of a humming bird and a bumblebee fighting over a flower - the speed and aggression of the humming bird contrasting with the slow deep determination of the bumble bee! So beautiful. Thank you for your presentation, skill and heart - you capture the imagination!

Actually others were doing minimalism before him. But he popularized it.
A beautiful piece of music performed beautifully. Thank you! And with one of my favorite current conductors!

Génial duo ! GORGIOUS ! desde Bartok string dúos, non audite una música así, fuerza I corazón... so delightful music! Since "Einstein on the beach",that was a little desapointing on stage(I stood 5 hours on a seven hours long) , Phil Glass became a Master! concerti per duetti where rare since Vivaldi, integrating chamber music delightfully! I'm deceived each time I hear the double or triple from Beethoven or Brahms, even with brighting stars like Rostropovitch. But today, that a great moment for me! Thank for this sharing!

After the main theme no interest until 18 mins into the piece when we hear those wonderful Glassian arpeggios whirling and twirling. Where is the sonic direction? More orchestral involvement would give warmth maybe in the brass. Instead we have glass brooding in these inconsequential little vignettes with the soloists. The structure is too even. Dull drab without being moving or touching. Listen to Saties furniture music at least it has a pleasant rhythmic drift. We expect more from one of the greatest living composers. Music for insomniacs.
