So far it’s been a poor season by Phil Coutinho’s standards, it has to be said. He’s been inconsistent and often looked uninterested, while Ousmane Dembélé has taken his place in the starting lineup with some fantastic performances. The doubts over whether Coutinho actually has a position that suits him in Barça’s system grows larger and larger and there have even been rumours about selling him in the summer. I understand the doubts over his preferred position, however I do not understand them over his quality. Phil has proven with Liverpool and in his first season at Barcelona what a fantastic player he is, and if you splash 160M on someone, you should at the very least have the patience to watch him over a full season before making rash decisions. I really hope he can overcome his bad form and get his confidence back because I’m certain he could have a key role to play as we try to become European champions again.

He was doing well before he got his injury, dembele came in and lost his position hardly him underperforming

@@robbo9854 I don't think he's had one great game this season, a couple of good ones, but not great (aside from Eibar last weekend perhaps). And for his quality, that is underperforming.

Barca has always made rush decision without thinking, signing Phil is one of them. Looks like Barca's transfer is trash now: never thought about the player's most suitable position and Barca's future when losing Messi someday...

Even if he was in form there is still no such position in our 4-3-3 system that really clicks with his skills. I really feel we bought the wrong guy and for an enormous sum makes it even worse. Coutinho just can't play our CM role, and he's too underwhelming at our wings. Unless he can be a false 9 like Messi then otherwise he won't succeed. I feel we should have bought Eriksen or someone like De Bruyne

Watched near enough every game he played for Liverpool. Trust me- this guy is something special. He’ll pull out a screamer from nowhere, dribbling past 4 players or pick out a crazy pass very few others will see. Once he gets ticking- he’ll be the first on the team sheet. There’s a reason why every LFC fan cried when he left- would have rather kept him than the 142 mil.

He is undoubtedly one of the best talents in football. Samba. The Brazilian Flair. He just has had a dip in form, that's just it. Media are talking trash (as they always do). I firmly believe he will bounce back and that beautiful smile will return to his face. He is one of my favourite players in world football and it's a joy to watch him play. Best of luck for the dribbler in him, the talisman, the ever smiling joyful Philippe Coutinho. And nevertheless our beloved Henrik Lehmann for one of the best edits of his channel. ✌️💪

Bro this video gonna make me cry 😭 I absolutely love coutinho and think he’s world class but it’s gonna he really hard for him to succeed at Barcelona Because he’s not quite a left winger and he’s not quite a center mid his position doesn’t fit in Barcelona I think it was a mistake to buy both dembele or coutinho should have been only dembele but I hope coutinho proves me wrong even tho he has all the odds against him 😭

Nika Nasaridze I agree... I don’t like Valverde, he does some very questionable tactics. I’d like to see Guardiola back in Barcà. But dembele outshined coutinho and took his spot. Coutinhos confidence went down. Disappointing to see him play like the way he is.

Coutinho is amazing whatever people say about him he doesn’t care because he tries his best to focus and make fútbol a beautiful sport and I know he will be amazing in the future with De jong, Malcom, Dembele, and Arthur he will always prove them wrong because he is the greatest of all time with him along side Messi and Dembele is unstoppable
