Prior he was nice and helped them with attractions like boat rides and what not. After all the fun he proceeds to hold them hostage until they paid him what he wants they sent john to walk untill he found an atm and had to walk back

watching travel vlogs from your group is always so nice to me. As someone with anxiety, depression, and not a lot of money to do things its hard to even go out close to home. I would LOVE to do something like this in the future and try all the foods, see all the places, and hopefully not get sick like toast did lol. Thank you for sharing your experience! The places you went to is kind of common place for foreigners, especially Boracay so the locals are used to all colors. Once you go to not so touristy place like the country side, you are going to get a lot of stares. But worry not, that is out of curiosity more than anything because you will stand out as a foreigner. And discrimination in the Philippines is more based on social status more than race or color. As long as you are respectful, people will give back or more of the same respect.

Black American people are pretty much safe in the Philippines. That I can tell you. I've met a lot of Black American people and we've been treating each other like they are part of us. Any bad treatment against black people in the Philippines only a small percentage but it's barely noticeable, if not, it doesn't happen at all. I said this in your previous vlog, I'll say it again. You are very much welcome if you want to come to the Philippines again. Either in an event (except CONQuest) or just for vacation.

I'm not really one to comment on vlogs, I simply watch them and enjoy them in peace while eating or destressing from work. Must say, this is why I love Syd's vlogs in particular. It's her authenticity, ingenuity and sincerity as a person - you can feel it through the screen like she's actually talking to you. Ngl, tugged on some heartstrings at the end. Oh to clarify about 15:55 It’s in the definition on the left, but the beef of the dish is just “tapa” not “tapsilog”. Tapsilog is the name of the whole dish, to anyone curious. And usually, I can’t lie, it’s the garlic fried rice that carries a lot of Filipino dishes. If y’all wanna improvise some like nice brunch with rice I’d highly highly recommend garlic fried rice with literally anything.
