I recently got mine and your cons are right on point. I travel to Europe a lot and I’ve noticed only Americans are used to big 16oz cups of coffee. Europeans mostly drink small expresses and cappuccinos. Being a European brand I think this machine is designed mostly for European tastes, which is why the servings seem rather small. Also, my coffees have been a little weaker than I was expecting, but I am still experimenting with different beans and grind settings.

I have the 4300, and so far I am very happy with it.

I’m about to sell my real espresso machine setup for this machine. I’ve had enough of the manual labour and accept the compromise in cup. I’d rather consistently good than occasionally great. I drink pod coffee at work, so I won’t miss the real stuff too much. Love the LatteGo system - seems easier than the Delonghi milk systems to keep clean

I have this machine and I can tell you it is exceptional brewer for the costs. Only thing I would recommend is to get an extended warranty with free shipping, since with so many parts that can go wrong, it will certainly pay for itself. It isn't a matter of if, but when any machine will break.

The problem with the drink size is that what you call "medium" in the U.S. would be considered XXL everywhere else in the world (the same as for food portions).

DeLonghi makes a coffe/espresso combination machine for around $250. It is not automatic, but gets the job done. With that said, I want the Phillips 3200 Latte Go.

With units like jura, there is substantial maintenance involved but the group isn’t accessible by a non mechanical jura person. Is there any maintenance involved here given that you can assess the brews group with ease? Looks awesome

Maybe you could put a video showing how to clean the brew group using coffee oil removal tablets?

Hi. I have set the temperature to maximum. However, milk coffees (latte ,cappuccino) are not coming hot.Coffee tastes great however its luke warm. Is there any other setting I'm missing?
