Hi, thanks for your comment. The coffee quantity button on the 4300 LatteGo allows you to adjust the volume of coffee that’ll be brewed. It doesn’t change the amount of coffee grounds used but rather the amount of water that flows through the coffee, which in turn affects the strength and taste of your drink. For a stronger cup, you’d reduce the water volume, and for a milder taste, you’d increase it. This feature provides you with the flexibility to personalize your coffee experience to your preference. For more detailed instructions on personalizing your drinks, you may refer to the user manual provided with your machine or visit our support page.

The grinder is ceramic with significant pressure applied. When moving (grinding) its easy to adjust, when stationary, the pressure can be so great it can break the knobs/gears that allow adjustment. They didn't say adjust one notch at a time, they stated you should make 2-3 cups before confirming its adjusted correctly. To make it adjustable, when not running, would likely add $200-$400. Personally, for something you rarely adjust, would rather waste a couple of cups of coffee than add the extra cost.

The whole machine is a useless POS - get a different brand! Philips quality is down the drain and support is non-existent.

What beans are you using? Must be medium or lighter roast beans. You didn't use a dark roast did you? Black oily beans will never work correctly on any super automatic... literally none. Also, instructions state NOT to adjust grinder for at least 100 cups of coffee. You went straight to the finest, which provides the least grounds, then wondered why its watery? If its watery, go course, not fine. Sounds like you put the grinder so close together, its not really filling the puck at all. All kinds of red flags should have gone off in your head saying going to #1 can't be right.

@@trevorwesterdahl6245 Yea, it is medium roast; blue bottle bold one. First, I thought machine will work perfectly even at the first time, but it was not. So I google it, and I found watery pucks has usually made with coarse grind and I switched the finest grind setting right away..(skipping the manual, that was my fault). Anyway, eventually I’d like to find the solution and do you have any idea for that?

I read online from someone not to adjust the grind and after awhile it will get better

Ants can be attracted to the sugar and milk residues in the machine, so it is important to clean it thoroughly after each use. Please follow the instructions in the user manual to remove and rinse the parts of the machine that come into contact with milk, such as the milk container, the tube, and the frother. Google the water hardness for your city and guesstimate. If you have super soft water, set it to 0 or 1 until you can get your test strips. It's not critical to the use of the machine, it's only for a descaling timer.

After a lot of experimenting I realised that the machine is making fine expresso and coffee. Its the frother which is making watery froths and diluting my milk beverages. How can I resolve this?

For reference, I used good quality whole milk from the fridge and also tried a combo of whole milk and coffee creamer made with natural ingredients. Similar results in froth quality for both
