after you enter python 3 in terminal what do you have to type/do?

@@TeeJayKay14 type syncbox.py which is the file created - or you can type the first 3 letter and hit tab to auto populate.

@@EddiedSuZa but what command did you type after you typed in python3. After whatever you typed this line appeared: zsh: suspended python 3. you say something like control set but I couldn't make it out.

Thats the step to extract the token. we will need that value to configure the plugin.

Thank you so much for the detailed guide. Any idea how to get the sync box integrated to alexa. The existing plugin just works for lights and not for the sync box.

Your Welcome ! Please go to settings > Voice Assistants and you can integrate with Amazon Alexa. cheers

Do I need to connect chromcast 4k or firestick straight to sync plilips box so it can sync the lights with my Sony Google tv? Chromcast was working good but now it keeps on disconecting and have to unplug and plug it back in so it can work. I bought another cromcast and it was the same thing so I'm thinking is the sync box🥺

Disconnect and connect the power supply to the sync box to see if the issue gets fixed.

The biggest problem with this product is that it does not pass through the signal 100% which means you lose support got Dolby Atoms and Vision on high end TVs even HDR functions are limited. I wish they could fix that in a new reversion

Oh Yes ! it should be a matter of a software update... Not a near perfect product however its better than my downgrading cheap HDMI splitter
