Another very good informative review, thanks. Given you found such a noticeable difference in the cutting lengths achieved on the same setting between the Braun and the Philips, I'd be very interested in your thoughts on the accuracy of the Braun Series 9 Professional vs Philips.

Thank you so much for the lovely compliment, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but would you like me to compare the Braun Series 9 with the Philips 7000 model?

@Philip.315 thankyou, I enjoyed your video comparing the Braun 9 Series with the Philips 7000. Two areas I would find interesting is the cutting length accuracy of the Braun - maybe again a half face trim with one, and half with the other with same length selected again (that was a good idea you had), and comment on which you think is the more accurate in achieving the selected length (I have found that 10mm seems to mean different things to differentmanufacturers...lol), and secondly how well they perform at cutting at the selected length in the moustache area under your nose where trimmers with variable guards attached can have difficulty.

I do have the Oneblade pro 360 and I will need to replace the blades in the next 4 months. I noticed the blades cost basically like the entire Onebladepro 360 which is pretty frustrating. Im thinking to buy the XT5200 then. Im just looking for 0.4 mm shave and thats it.

Save your money! I've realized that I need a good trimmer and a lighter model for travel or quick touch-ups. If you find a good deal, you can save over 30 dollars, which you can spend on other things. Thank you for sharing!

Hi! I watched all your videos/shorts regarding shavers/trimmers/groomers as you are the only decent person actually testing and comparing everything out. I'd like to buy a gift for my bf and I cannot still decide what to get for him. I am torn between the Philips Body Groomer and the Braun 9 based on his needs. So I think his preference will be something he can use for/as: - Clean cut/close shave on his face - Armpit/Groin area shaving Which trimmer/groomer can fulfill both of these?

Also considering Philips One Blade Pro as well!

Thank you so much for watching my videos and for the kind words! 😊 I’m glad you found the comparisons helpful. Based on what you've described, both the Philips Body Groomer and the Braun 9 are great options, but I believe the Philips might be better meet your boyfriend’s needs, simply because it offers more accessories. The Braun 9 does have a shaving attachment available in some regions (which unfortunately I didn’t receive), but I’m confident it’s at least as good as the Philips option. Personally, I prefer the Braun, especially for its fade guard, which works quite well around the ears and neck. I also appreciate the ergonomic grip and small details like the low battery warning. However, considering the specific needs you've mentioned, I think Philips is likely the better choice. I’m not sure if they’ve renamed the model to Multigroomer or Philips All-in-One, but I know they’ve added an auto-sense function, similar to what Braun offers, which adjusts power based on the thickness of the hair. This could be particularly useful for maintaining consistent performance across different areas of the body. I hope my answer helps! If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out. Good luck with your decision!"

@@Shivaaaaaaaaaa Considering the needs you’ve described, I think the Philips 7000 series might be a better option in this case. That said, you could also consider getting both options, or the Braun BT5000, because it's both cheaper and just as good, or even better than the OneBlade for certain tasks. When it comes to these smaller models, I find myself using them when I’m in a hurry and need a quick shave. However, for more thorough grooming and trimming, I personally find the larger models to be more effective.

@@Shivaaaaaaaaaa You're welcome, and thank you so much! Yes, it would be awesome if I got monetized. I also replied to you regarding the OneBlade, so you don’t miss my response. Good luck! And be sure to check out Philips' website, as they sometimes have great deals!

which one is best for Neckline Shave? I currently use straight razor but looking to get an electric for quick shave at neckline area.

Hello, thank you for the question. I find that Braun is better for this purpose, and if you choose the right model, you can save money. However, I can't speak for the Braun 3000 models. The only negative aspect of the Braun model is that it has fewer guards, and switching between them isn't as "sexy" as it is with the OneBlade Pro and its "wheel distance" feature, but it works and isn't a major problem to switch between them. Another downside is that the Braun has 15 minutes less battery life, if that's important to you. Best regards, Philip

@@Philip.315 Thanks mate, i am never gona use attachments, so its not an issue for me. I can see XT5 available here in Australia - not sure if its same motor as XT5200. I just want one for quick & close neckline shave - as razor takes more time. Seems the one here is XT5100 on sale, is the only difference between XT5100 & XT5200 is an extra body attachment in XT5200? Or thr motors are also different?

@@urg454 You just get a stationary charging dock included with the X5300, and for me, there's no need for it, so I'd rather save 20 dollars. And if I understand correctly, there's no difference regarding the motors. Hope this helps and good luck!

Philips oneblade or Braun Series 9 pro for sensitive skin and close shave?
@Philip.315
@Philip.315 Ай бұрын
Hi there! Based on shaving, OneBlade is a good choice. Some people have asked about the Braun Series 9 shaver, but unfortunately, I can't comment on it as I didn't receive that part to the trimmer. It might be something that's only available in other countries. So, to sum up, I would say for shaving and light trimming, OneBlade is a better option. However, if you want to focus more on detailed beard trimming, the Braun Series 9 is the better choice. If you are considering buying OneBlade, I recommend you check out my comparison video between OneBlade Pro and Braun Series X. But if you have sensitive skin, I would say OneBlade might be gentler on the skin. I hope this makes things clearer and not more confusing. Feel free to reach out if you have more questions. Good luck! /Philip

@@Philip.315 I suffer from razor bumps while using Gillete Mach 3, i hope OneBlade will help me to reduce razor bumps and provide me close shave

@@AmonnRa I also have sensitive skin. I'm not sure what it is about the Mach 3 that I can't tolerate, but I don't get nearly as much irritation from an old-fashioned double-edged safety razor, especially when combined with quality products. However, even with that, I can't shave every day; rather, I shave every other day or every third day, otherwise, my skin gets very irritated. Regarding your rash, it's hard for me to say, as it could be anything from how your skin reacts to shaving to whether you are allergic to the material. I don't know if you can return the product if you're not satisfied, but you should probably check the return policy. Spontaneously, I think OneBlade might be a bit gentler on the skin. But as I said, it's hard to predict how your skin will react. /Philip

@@Philip.315 I tried safety razor but I had problems with that too, I think I will buy OneBlade and if i'm not satisfied maybe later i will go for Braun pro 9. Also one more question. You can't shave every day with safety razor but can you do it with OneBlade?

@@AmonnRa If I base it on my own experience, I tend to get red skin if I shave two days in a row with OneBlade, just like with a razor. My skin needs a two-day break; for example, if I shave on Monday, I can shave again on Wednesday./Philip
