Hello Phil, I bought this saw when it first came out.I changed the blade to an 80 TPI made a zero insert from a piece of oak and finally I got an elbow joint for the sawdust exhaust. I added a sacrificial fence from a piece of 3/8 wood

@@PhillWyattProjects Hi phill,i have watched your vids on building your own shed it looks very well built you did a great job. I bought a 12x8 pent shed for the price i paid they put it together as well after watching your vids i am thinking of taking the t&g of and putting the membrane on it as i am getting a couple of places where water has come in and i do get condensation,having said that i am going to fit a static vent in both side to see if that helps

@@sandman2651 Sorry I have only just noticed your comment. I would reccomend putting in the vents rather than a wrap as it would be a lot of work now to remove all the timber. They Vents should work well.

Nice video - thanks. I've just bought one, which is my first powered mitre, and the only think I'm not too keen on is the safety being so close to the power button - every time I bring it down to line up, I'm worried I might press the power. Also wish it had a stop, so I could make same size cuts, but can't have everything for that price!

Thanks👍 yea I know what you mean about the 2 buttons being close it takes some getting used to. For a stop I use a quick clamp.

Hi Lisa, I did consider a sliding saw and may get one in the future. I bought this because it is small and light so easy to store and more around. In my opinion it is a great starter Saw.
