We do.. These young ass kids n NYC was born in 2000s.. They didnt grow up in the 90s. The older guy probably from a hood where the Arabs run the store..The bodegas wasnt ran by arabs like that back then where I'm from.. It was more Papis..That's why we got the word bodega just like Philly .It was more Puerto Ricans and Dominicans had those delis more. .. And we call the plug with weight Papi too. I didnt really see ahk where I'm from until like the year 2000 or some shit. They were in other hoods though. But now it seems like the Ahks took over a lot of the stores.

In NYC it's both Ahks and Papis hence why we have bodegas... But it depends what neighborhood you in..Im from uptown so I grew up with way more Papis than Ahks at the bodega.. Ahks was like after 2000 for me. Probably Brooklyn and Queens people my age grew up with more Ahks.. In the 70s,80, 90s, Puerto Ricans and Dominicans had bodegas more than now where I grew up.. Now Arabs have taken a lot of the deli businesses... The 2000s babies got a different outlook. Another thing, we call the plug Papi too if he is one.. Papi got it for like 23 a grizzle yu heard?? lol If you go to a Jamaican hood, probably be bredren at the store or something like that. And if you wanna fight... We can shake, get right and many others.
