To all the Robertson Family and all the Christian Followers of this channel. I'm asking for prayers this time for me. On the 6th of August I went to the Dr. to get my test results. I was diagnosed with esophagus cancer, an enlarged heart, lung scaring and a node on my thyroid. One of these is enough of a fight, but this feels like a solid hand of aces & eights. I thank everyone that can pray over this for and with me. Grace & Peace.

You guys are the best. I had a german shepherd female named Sheba. That was thee best hunting dog that the good Lord ever created in my opinion. All anyone had to do was work the action of a gun and she went into hunting mode. She'd retrieve ducks and geese outta are ponds and water holes. She'd chase down coyotes that were already half across are field, but the only thing she couldn't catch was a fox. And she had the sweetest demeanor. She was gentle with small kids and cats even. She was one in a million. God bless!

Reward the lab with a treat for not whining then you will get the behavior that you want. Most of the labs my husband and I have raised go to hunters, had this same question from one that bought a male from us. We told him to reward the dog when he didn’t whine. He worked with the dog and broke the bad behavior he didn’t want. Start with using a duck call as a command for him to sit, reinforcing stay in place quietly until you give him the command to retrieve. Don’t forget to reward him as you get the behavior you want. When you get to the point in practice when you raise that firearm into the air and he’s still quiet, you know your getting somewhere. Try running some of the energy out of him by retrieving before the hunt, or water exercise. Hope this helps 😁

Love it...this podcast is so good, I deliberately hold off watching/listening to it when it debuts "live" on Sundays...I save it for my Mondays, as I'm working...a real pick-me-up.

I taught first grade for 12 years in Nashville. I had to resign in 2014 for health reasons, but sometimes the best teaching takes place when you just ditch the lesson plans you spent hours making and just have teachable moments instead. You're still getting the lesson done, but you're making bigger connections this way when you know you've hooked your audience. It sounds like Phil threw a line out, hooked his audience, and had some good teachable moments in Athens. We have Prime and I just added it to my wish list. But after watching the trailer, all I can say now is, "WOW!" Is there anything you can't do, Phil!?!? God had a purpose for you, and I believe you're knocking it out of the park day in and day out, as well as your family!

I have a black lab named Katie Grace. She was given to me by God. We've been together 24/7 for almost ten years. She's never duck hunted, but she caught a seagull once, and a Raven once. I haven't been to jail not once since we got together. I feel the Lord sent her to me, and I praise his name for her. Love y'all.

Love you all three as brothers in the name of Christ. My comment would be this, no matter how you re- word any of this video all your doing is putting down churches. There is order in our church, not rituals. Yes it's a building we gather in. If it were someones home like Phil keeps preaching there would be order. Jesus being crucified and resurrecting is preached. Some hard working, God fearing men that gather in that building. And the songs Jase is talking about are money making songs that people get rich from. Gets real spiritual when money is involved but you let them pass an offering plate amongst willing givers in a church building setting and you'd think someone committed heresy. My soul was saved while in a building with other christians. I really take alot from listening to In the woods with Phil. Hes a good man. Not everyone has the platform he has been blessed with though. I know there is evil in a lot that goes on in these denominations but not every preacher thinks he is above everyone speaking down to them because the platform he preaches from is raised. Al thanks for saying you know not every gathering is bad.

Great podcast guys! We need to get back to the word and forget the teachings and heritage of men, and you guys are rocking it! We should worship God in everything we do. But also keep in mind we do not need to modernize the worship service to bring people in, just preach Jesus. Let’s focus on glorifying God and not appeasing man, God will take care of the rest.

I love your Unashamed pod casts! As for duck dogs I've hunted the last 10 years over a yellow lab who was a whiner and had an incredible drive. The whining does get old quickly in the blind. I recently have been working my new German shorthair and have been incredibly impressed at the drive to retrieve and continually wanting to work. Like Jase, this will be her 1st season in the blind in AZ and will be an experiment when it comes to ducks vs bumpers.

From here in West Monroe, I sure do enjoy these videos. Please keep it up!

I drink coffee "religiously" each morning, but my Faith is a personal relationship with God! Religion is man-made. Brother's my Mamaw taught me it's not the name above of the door was going to send a person to heaven it's what is in a person's heart.. She couldn't read she was a very spiritual lady.. She lived to be 92 year's old.. She trusted in the Lord and the one's who preached were she was unable to read were she didn't get much education growning up.. She was amazing Mamaw and a mom to me.. She raised us up in church and when we didn't get to go to church we watched it on tv or listen to preaching on radio.. She gave be the best lives listen in life to me. Amen.. It's in the heart of the man or woman.. Amen. Most of all she trusted in God to lead her and guide her.. Amen..

Im dealing with an excited chocolate right now. She’s a sweetheart though, no fighter. So much energy, she is going to make amazing pups with my dad’s chocolate. She hunted last year, and should be a completed gun dog by the end of this season. She’ll be three this winter, and we’ll breed her when she goes in heat after the 2021 duck seaon. Her siblings were all sold as started gun dogs, but i kept her to finish and keep as my personal duck dog. She’s the smartest i’ve ever trained, i really hope her pups are as great as her, because I’ll definitely be keeping a male from that batch.

please take into consideration it's not one year is 2 years and this dog ,there's obviously problems with him. the other dogs you going to be hunting with.do those hunters have to leave there dog home ,or do you test your dog on your own? My dad is 89 years old and I would love to be able to do something like this with him before he passes but time has gone and there is no more for that, cherish your father over your dog always.
