Training at 7000ft is a bit harder when you get 31 inches of snow.... a snow day calls for a Q&A video! Thank you to all those who sent in their questions. I love that you talked about the whole boundaries thing with having your own job + social media! I’m a self employed clinical nutritionist who markets herself mostly through social media + I have clients on personalized meal plans and LET ME TELL you the struggle is REAL, the burnout from being connected 24/7 is REAL! I’ve been doing it for 5+ years, constantly promising myself to set more boundaries between me and clients/social media and I’ve been 100% unsuccessful every time hahaha thanks for your amazing videos! Great insights - I can see ultras being something that are naturally gravitated to over time. First for the challenge of "haven't done it yet", eventually for the love of it. Have my first, short, ultra @ 34 miles in October. Time goal for Trafford? I'm *going* to run sub-45 for the first time, aiming to take 10s/km off my PB.

What’s the benefit of being based in Flagstaff (outside of altitude) when the weather is so bad? Surely a high altitude camp in Spain or elsewhere would be preferable

I'm not quite understanding this either, been there in Oct and it dropped to 17F (-8C) in the morning, OK, I did walk around a bit later but yeah the weather seems to be uh, variable.

Most places in the winter at altitude are gonna be touch and go weather wise, but it’s not usually THIS bad in January, it was a record snowfall winter. I’d say only one run on the treadmill was a success!

I will say listening to you talk sometimes leaves me wondering what did she mean. Because to me at least you do not seem to have an accent, I do live in Canada if that makes any difference. I will say I have travelled over a fair bit of the US and in some states when you stop to eat you can notice a accent, but it was not every time just sometimes :)

total bait and switch with the thumbnail there Philly!! I thought the vid was going to be where you have some kind of panic about your decision, go through the motions then there is the big reveal that the gamble is worth it and to hell with the consequences, maybe with some Rocky music behind it!!!! Never mind great content as always! I noticed that apparently Eilish has been doing some training in Colorado somewhere, same idea as your teams altitude camp I am guessing!

So, I cycle more than run. Really I don't run. If I'm running, you better run too, because something terrible is coming. If it's cold at all, does your nose run? And if it's cold and dry, do you end up coughing and almost fall off your bike? Or sneakers?
