Lol no you cant. War thunder STILL doesnt model redundant controls. The p47 dies a lot when it shouldnt since ypull lose wing or tail xontrols when IRL the redundant systems would mean you keep control.

@Сергей Владимирович Таборицкий Yep. If the A-10 was against a modern opponent it has no chance against advanced guided missiles and air defence and such. Modern air combat is about using advanced technology to evade missiles from beyond visual range, and launch attacks from beyond visual range. Anything other than that and it’s very risky (unless you have disabled AA and have air superiority), which is pretty much why you see Russian jets being destroyed every single day flying over cities. They are sending the jets in like they’re fighting in the Middle East against enemies that don’t have guided weapons, and it seems like the Russians forgot to take out Ukraines Anti Air. The A10 would only do worse in the same situation, now that there are very small and mobile anti air systems that can be deployed anywhere and at any time.

@Сергей Владимирович Таборицкий So yeah of course it will be an easy target for a SAM which is where F-16's, F-18's, EA-18's and sometime soon F-35's will come in and take care of those with HARMS. Only thing it will have to worry about is manpads and some shilka's and Tunguskas or how ever you spell those. For fighters of course they won't fly when we don't have air superiority which sucks when troops need CAS but that's why multirole fighters like the F-35, F-16 and F-18 are very important but A-10 fanboys just don't get that.
