I think I remember Cole trying to give up his powers to the wizard or something. If only he had told them that's what he was doing ahead of time so they would not have interrupted the story, it could have gone in a whole new direction.

Cole would never give up his powers to anyone let alone to a wizard. Because Barbas tried it and succeeded but only Cole's biggest fear is being evil even though he has always been evil. Because you can't be evil and good just to have it both ways. Because you can't have it both ways and that's why.

They literally could have used the ancient magic they learned from the coven that cared for Melinda Warren or even some of the gypsy magic they learned a few episodes ago...

Since Bacarra never showed invisibility, I assume that he never found or killed the witch here. With the timeline fixed, she lives. The actress is unknown, but she's pretty. Phoebe is being unprofessional here cause of her affection. Which is expected for anyone in a relation. But Cole is right to ask his question. It took months to feel that way for him, while Miles was a few weeks. Lastly, Cole uses Transmogrification, the ability to shapeshift into inanimated objects only. He turned into a cd rack, what would've happened if 1 disk was removed? 😜

In Charmed the Lore: They could have casted a spell to summon the Book of Shadows back to the manor, or Paige could have orbed it back.

They dealt with Tuatha pretty early in the show, perhaps they added it to their own book after dealing with her?

in that episode it is said that they also had this spell in the book, Prue said that you need a heart, and Piper joked that take mine

What annoyed me is as a fan of Charmed, why didn't the sisters do what they normally do when they face the unknown demon that's not in the Book of Shadows....YOU WRITE A DAMN POWER OF 3 SPELL!!! In the episode where they had to protect a muse. Phoebe wrote a spell to reveal a muse, track a muse, a reversal spell to reveal a muse, and then the warlock enemy of that episode they wrote a vanquishing spell. I'm so pissed off at them for not writing a vanquishing spell to vanquish Baccara, they could have even used the spell that they wrote in season 4 to vanquish a warlock, like come on.

What didn't annoyed me as a fan of Cole that he is a demon and he can use his demonic powers to vanquish the warlock. Just like he vanquished the warlock before the sisters tried to vanquish Cole but got unlimited powers from the Avatars and became indestructible. But Cole wouldn't try to vanquish his advisor Bacarra from the future.
