25k!!!!! Craziness! I'm so grateful for all of you, and I hope I can keep on growing and getting better and better! I hope you enjoyed meeting all of my banjos in a row. I know it was a bit of a long rambly video, but I just get so excited talking about my banjos and showing them off haha. "Banjo Joe" was made by the Harmony Co. in Chicago. They sold it with lots of different names on the headstock, but it was known as their "Reso-Tone" model, made from moulded Bakelite, an early form of plastic, very hard and brittle. I have one with the optional resonator back, also in Bakelite. I have softened the tone by using nylon strings, and I think it stands up very well in comparison with "grander" banjos. Thank you for the video - very entertaining, and good luck with your channel for the future.

They make banjos that are built like electric guitars, like the gold tone ebm-5. As a guitar luthier, I wouldn't modify a guitar. that would be more trouble than it's worth I think. If I were you I would invest in a better amplifier first, you'll notice a world of difference on your electric banjo

I love that bango with the deer antler arm rest, it sound super soft but still rings the nots out loud enough. It's just nice.

Now I don't feel so bad with eight guitars, one banjo and one ukulele in my house. Stringed instruments seem to like to grow families. And my cheapest guitar is my favorite! Congrats on 25K, Phoebe!
