Phoenix Rising at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is currently testing like crazy, and we had a chance to watch it make over 75+ laps around the course! During the course of the day/night we also spotted human test dummies on the ride, on-board lights turned on, & audio! The giant screen in the station was also testing and it looks incredibly bright/detailed!

I CAN NOT believe they close @ 9pm, that's crazy.. That lift is so loud. The night package makes this a lot more interesting. Is it me or does the little B&Ms sound louder than the bigger ones probably closer to the ground...

Honestly they should have gone with a nice custom Vekoma layout... it feels like a really average layout for a modern day family coaster.

Those are only on Vekoma suspended family coasters. They were never going to swing, and no marketing or artwork ever suggested they would.

It’s not going to be crazy fast, no. If I remember right, about 45 mph. It’s a family coaster.

@@CoasterExpress No slower than the Vekoma family suspended coasters like Dragonflier/Orkanen. The whole cycle is likely only about a minute.

There's no midcourse break and nowhere to stop the train other than the station. To have a train always waiting on the brakes would not only diminish capacity, but also make the experience LESS fun.

This ride is going to have the worst capacity in the park. And don't forget the horrible team members op speeds. Plus garbage managemant understaffing the ride. Sheesh im guessing 75 minute waits on saturdays
