The Grizzlies would've been trouble for everybody, imagine if the Suns went against them. That GS blowout was due to them not adapting quick enough against a more defensive team.

@@catmeowmy6635 I had them losing surprisingly only because the suns play very inconsistent for a team who wants a ring. Last year they dodged so many bullets and was still struggling badly w/ the upper hand before the finals, then in the finals they absolutely stunk it up and got exposed. Then this year same thing Pelicans no Zion and a lot of new pieces and they’re struggling once again and playing shenanigans w/ an 8th seed when they should be getting them out of there.

Stats don't take context into account though. I am a Bucks fan and when I saw this it felt like a bs stat for this particular series. We barely won game 5, offense was one-dimensional and frankly the team started to look tired, not to mention the lack of spacing with Middleton out which meant that Giannis was forced to go at 3 defenders at all times. In addition Celtics managed to take 2 away games which suggests they were very capable of doing it again and in general it felt like if we allowed a game 7 it d be a done deal for the Celtics.

Mavs literally didn't give the suns a single second to build momentum. Every shot they were making was demoralizing to the suns. And they played great defense as well on Phoenix. This game was officially over half way through the second quarter.

Coach Kidd's experience really showed: the Mavs did everything right to completely tire out CP3 those last 4 games. They kept rushing him on D and forced him to defend on Luka with the switches. Fantastic job!
